"My role at Allianz isn't always customer-facing, but it is always customer-shaping because I help ensure that what our customers tell us actually reaches the teams who can make a difference — and that it arrives in a form that drives action, not just awareness. Every analysis I deliver, every recommendation I make, and every connection I build between departments is ultimately about making the customer experience a little better than it was before."

Where Our Work Meets the Customer
As a trainee, I rotate through various departments and gain first-hand insight into how different parts of the organization impact the customer journey. The mandatory placement in a sales agency is particularly valuable, it allows me to bring real customer stories and frontline experiences back into departments that typically operate far from direct customer contact. By translating these insights into tangible recommendations, I help bridge the gap between what customers actually experience and how internal teams design their processes.
Our contribution becomes visible whenever a process is improved, a pain point is resolved, or a department adjusts its approach because someone carried the customer's voice into the room.

Turning Insights into Action
During my rotation at the AKM Chief Customer Office, I contributed to the development of an AI-supported reporting format that enables us to systematically capture and analyze every open-text response from our customers. This means that no piece of feedback goes unnoticed — each response is registered, evaluated, and translated into concrete actions to improve the customer experience. What previously required hours of manual review is now processed more efficiently and comprehensively, ensuring that the voice of our customers directly informs how we shape our services.
The Skill Behind the Success
The most important skill is the ability to look beyond the surface — understanding not just what customers say, but why they feel that way. My background in Business Psychology taught me that customer behavior is shaped by psychological needs like trust, fairness, and feeling heard, and that awareness fundamentally changes how I approach every analysis. Equally important is a genuine willingness to collaborate across department boundaries, because no single team holds the full picture of the customer experience. If you combine analytical rigor with real empathy for the people behind the data, you can create insights that do not just inform — they actually move things forward.
