    Responsible for writing compelling, unique and results-driven copy for B2B and B2C marketing campaigns and collateral, as well as B2B2C co-branded marketing campaigns for our extensive list of strategic partners and new business prospects. Enjoys the travel, event ticket and tuition markets, is a relationship-builder and a copywriting powerhouse when it comes to both concepting and writing short- and long-form copy for a range of business and marketing initiatives.

    ## Collaborate with graphic and/or web designers to create ad concepts (sometimes multiple ideas per project) and present the ideas to senior leadership and cross-functional teams for approval; ability to persuade and sell ideas while listening and collaborating with leadership to produce the best creative work possible within the project guardrails~crlf~## Concepts and executes marketing messages that persuasively deliver the intended business strategy, creative brief and campaign request~crlf~## Ability to write for all types of advertising/marketing projects such as: print ads, product brochures, flyers, email campaigns, banner ads, corporate websites, web landing pages, articles, audio and video scripts, sales training materials, blog posts, social media, posters and other collateral, etc. – both B2B and B2C~crlf~## Aptitude for writing customer (insurance purchaser) emails, letters and other communications around purchasing or claims that are concise and resonate with the end-consumer in a way that is refreshingly clear and represents our brand and infuses the appropriate personality to convey welcoming, caring and/or instructional messages~crlf~## Ability to concept and write for the travel agent audience (both B2B and B2C) which includes major travel accounts and their agents (e.g. Travel Leaders, Travel Impressions, Virtuoso, AAA & Avoya) and vary depending on the agents clients (e.g. luxury or family travel)~crlf~## Ability to concept and write effective eCommerce direct response booking path messages for a wide range of strategic partners and prospects (mostly major travel brands such as airlines, OTAs, event and rail (e.g. Delta, United, Southwest, Expedia, Kayak, Ticketmaster & Amtrak)~crlf~## Effective at producing high volume of quality work within fast turnaround timeframes, using project management software (Workfront) to maintain accurate project records, reporting and project time tracking)~crlf~## Initiates own creative or copywriting projects for content development and incorporation, when appropriate, into other campaigns (i.e. customer testimonials/stories)~crlf~## Lead other copywriters in sharing best practices and working through creative challenges to establish creative/copy strategies, communication hierarchies and tactics by channel, presenting work with strong verbal and written rationales (rooted in consumer/partner insights) ~crlf~## Work with other brand creative team members to lead and contribute to brainstorming sessions to creatively solve business challenges for AWP and our strategic partners~crlf~## Participate in internal meetings with key stakeholders on various projects to receive project briefings and overviews; ability to prioritize time and workload~crlf~## Conduct internal or external research or interviews in order to write copy that is strategically sound (and complaint in terms of advertising claims, for example) and must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional, cross-divisional environment to solve problems creatively~crlf~## Ability to quickly learn and comprehend various insurance industry products (mainly travel and event protection plus tuition insurance) and the nuances of each in terms of benefits/features.~crlf~## Exhibit subject matter expertise in compliance guidelines, product details (we have over 300 products), customer experience, and communication best practices by media channel whether traditional or digital (including character limits, alt tags, contextual hyperlinks, SEO/SEM best practices, mobile or other technical functionality, mobile apps, etc.)~crlf~## Onboard, coach, and mentor junior or new copywriters (FTEs or contractors)~crlf~## Responsible for original concepts, for clear, concise and convincing writing that is grammatically correct, materially accurate based on research, applies appropriate brand “tone/voice”, adheres to Compliance guidelines, leverages design and digital best practices, “fits” the intended media, includes strong call-to-action that produces intended results~crlf~## Willingness to fully embrace AWP’s high performing organization culture, for which the dimensions include making significant impact to business results through effective and timely execution, a natural passion and commitment to the success of the organization, a continual pursuit of knowledge garnering expertise to make informed and timely judgments and decisions, and a willingness to work with others to ensure positive outcomes on mutual objectives communicating clearly and candidly~crlf~## Exemplifies leadership and people attributes to support AWP’s culture to include entrepreneurship, trust, customer and market excellence, and collaborative leadership~crlf~## May perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements : ~crlf~## Five (5) to seven (7) years demonstrated experience in creative copywriting, preferably at an advertising/marketing agency or in-house agency~crlf~## Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or PR required; Master’s degree preferred.~crlf~## Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite plus Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and content management software such as Wordpress; MAC and PC~crlf~## Talent, judgment and imagination to create ideas and words for the creation of marketing communications and direct response advertisements~crlf~## Knowledge of proper writing mechanics and prose; punctuation, spelling, structure and organization of writing, etc. ~crlf~## Experience and understanding of writing for a company with strict Compliance and Legal regulations such as the insurance or other financial services industry preferred.
