Sr Advanced Markets Consultant - Life - Minneapolis
Sr Advanced Markets Consultant is responsible for expert advanced sales consultation and support to the Allianz internal sales and external channels of distribution. This position focuses primarily on life insurance, taxation, trusts and estate planning, executive compensation planning, business succession planning, and planned charitable giving strategies. Assists in creation of collateral, sales training and the development of new markets. Day to day responsibilities will include evaluation of client cases, consultation on recommendations regarding those cases, researching tax and legal issues related to advanced planning strategies, and supporting other areas of the enterprise in implementation of appropriate Advanced Markets strategies.
Expert Consultation: Offers expert consultation to our sales force, financial services professionals and our operations area regarding complex Advanced Markets topics, primarily focusing on life insurance taxation, trust and estate planning, executive compensation, and business succession solutions. ~crlf~~crlf~Creation and Updating of Advanced Markets Materials: Acts as a subject matter expert and assists in the creation and delivery of compliant sales collateral for clients and financial services professionals including brochures and presentations, supporting Advanced Markets topics such as executive bonus plan, split dollar, trust strategies, and others accepted by the company. Strives to identify new sales strategies that will enhance use of our products. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.~crlf~~crlf~Creation and Delivery of Training: Responsible for creation and delivery of training and education around complex Advanced Markets topics. Must work closely with our sales and operations training departments to schedule appropriate times to fit into training calendars.~crlf~~crlf~Support for Product Development and Operations: Contributes to product development process by identifying opportunities outside our current offerings. Assists corporate legal and compliance as a subject matter expert when necessary. Analyzes processes to identify inconsistencies, errors and omissions in information disseminated throughout the enterprise including Operations on Advanced Markets tax and other topics. Works with department heads to correct information and rewrite business rules as needed.~crlf~~crlf~Research: Conduct research on various industry segments, current trends, primary concerns of business owners in those industries, etc. to develop target marketing material. ~crlf~~crlf~External Presentations: Conduct in-person and/or virtual presentations on advanced marketing topics to financial service professionals. ~crlf~~crlf~
