The AIM DELTA Program is a rewarding experience for highly motivated, multi-skilled individuals who will be exposed to multiple departments of the challenging environment of a top tier Investment Manager, Allianz Investment Management (AIM). In collaboration with seasoned professionals, the candidate will drive key projects and execute critical processes that will benefit AIM and our clients and allow for foundational development and expert knowledge-building for the candidate. During the program, Analysts are empowered to utilize their investment knowledge and programming/coding skills and apply these in business transformation projects across AIM’s Investment Value Chain.~crlf~~crlf~Analyst responsibilities include: investment research and analysis, building financial spreadsheet models, developing presentations/recommendations and automating key production processes. Analysts will gain exposure to various facets of our business and expanded knowledge of the investment industry, while developing important technical, analytical and communication skills to help them succeed in the investment industry.~crlf~ ~crlf~After the DELTA Program, the Analyst will take on a full-time position in a specific department and utilize their new skills and connections to contribute to department-specific goals and further increase their expert knowledge development.
- Investment Process Support - Partner with the Investment Management and Operations teams to execute regular investment functions (ex. reporting, analytics, research, reconciliations, etc.). Attention to detail and controls orientation are critical in performing these functions. This includes daily/monthly responsibilities and communication with AIM's clients and other third parties.~crlf~~crlf~- Key Project Support - Partner with senior team members in all Investment functions to complete key project deliverables. Quickly learn project basics including interviewing, documenting and presenting improvements via automation or process re-engineering. Recommend these potential opportunities to the OPEX and Project Manager for inclusion in the project pipeline. Update and maintain project management documentation (incl. - 2-3 years experience preferred~crlf~- Investment management experience is preferred.
