Senior Business Development Manager (Japanese Speaking)
This position is to achieve new business targets through the assigned distribution channels and in line with the ASEAN distribution and sales strategy for both Singapore and Japanese Client in ASEAN. The candidate will have his/her own new business targets to build a profitable and sustainable trade credit insurance portfolio.
- Deliver individual sales activities and new business targets.~crlf~- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.~crlf~- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, representing Euler Hermes at events / webinars or clients, brokers, business partners and associations, i.e. JCCI.~crlf~- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.~crlf~- Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities.~crlf~- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs. ~crlf~- Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality.~crlf~- Register/record and maintain data of the sales activities in the CRM system.~crlf~- Represent and promote Euler Hermes trade credit insurance business and generate business opportunities into growth and profitability.~crlf~- Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and high quality of customer portfolio.~crlf~- Any ad hoc tasks by the managers. ~crlf~
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) in English and Japanese~crlf~- At least 5 years relevant experience in B2B Financial services~crlf~- Expert know-how in specifics of market~crlf~- Ability to build extensive network with prospects, market players and opinion leaders~crlf~- Ability to generate and convert leads~crlf~- Expert knowledge in sales and negotiation skills~crlf~- Ability to liaise with team members, main stakeholders and with other core functions~crlf~- Ability to convince customers in negotiations~crlf~
