As the Sr Infrastructure Storage and Backup Engineer the successful candidate will:~crlf~~crlf~• Provide technical leadership for storage and backup services providing technical direction and leadership for daily operational activities. Actively participate in vendor management and drive work prioritization ensuring all aspects of service delivery are met. The work of the backup support include:~crlf~ o Design, configure, maintain the Backup technologies platform in a global environment~crlf~ o Drive capacity planning & enhanced monitoring for proactive enhancements of the backup environment.~crlf~ o Service including backup, restore and replication of data to meet the business RTO/RPO requirements.~crlf~ o Document standards, knowledge base articles & processes~crlf~ o Collaborate with cross functional groups to design & implement complex solutions.~crlf~ o Assist with defining backup and restore business requirements; ensures delivered solutions meet SLA’s~crlf~ o Ability to define/manage Global group policy & backup/restore policy for the platform~crlf~• Assist in creating backup/recovery roadmap to support business requirements &/evaluate new technologies~crlf~• Work collaboratively with the all Allianz technology Operational teams to ensure optimal end user experience for all users, delivering to, and improving upon, the SLA’s and OLA’s of request and incidents~crlf~• Responsible for working with architects and leadership on the continual service development of backup/recovery platform~crlf~• Develop and evaluate POCs for new product or services with respect to engineering delivery of those solutions~crlf~~crlf~

Required Skills:~crlf~• Expert skills of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 Operating Systems~crlf~• Expert skills of CommVault, TSM and Data Domain~crlf~• Expert Skills in productivity tools including scripting technologies like PERL, C# and Vbasic~crlf~• Strong understanding of best practices around security in a Virtual/physical end-user environment~crlf~• Strong technology stack troubleshooting skills~crlf~• Knowledge of CommVault, replication and recovery technologies~crlf~• Knowledge of diverse storage and operating systems technologies~crlf~• Strong Active Directory, Group Policy skills~crlf~• Exceptional communication and presentation skills at an enterprise level.~crlf~• An excellent team player who values the importance of customer service~crlf~• A strong desire to establish standards of best practice~crlf~• Demonstrated ability in facilitating and influencing solution design and delivery~crlf~• Ability to work successfully in a matrix management organization onshore & offshore~crlf~• Experience with managing third party service providers.~crlf~~crlf~QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS~crlf~Undergraduate degree in Information Technology field /or equivalent of 10 years’ experience in backup/recovery, storage support & solutions~crlf~~crlf~
