Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Our ambition is to set the global B2B2C market standard for integrating with global business partners to develop complete solutions combining insurance, assistance and technology.~crlf~ ~crlf~Finance in Allianz Partners covers all finance functions including Planning/Controlling, Accounting/Reporting, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance.~crlf~ ~crlf~The Financial Controller will be part of the global Line of Business (LoB) team and deeply involved into planning, reporting of the global LoB as well as a business partner for the LoB CEO and other related Stakeholder.
##Run monthly and quarterly closings including group-internal consolidation procedures and management reporting of global LoB results~crlf~##A dedicated focus topic is to drive transparency for the decision making manager regarding the development of cost that is allocated to LoBs ~crlf~##Organize meetings and exchange with relevant stakeholders in order to understand relevant trends and developments for the LoB results~crlf~##Drive the annual financial Planning Dialogue and support the Strategic Dialogue in close collaboration with the internal management and the global function holders~crlf~##Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances as well as initiating corrective actions~crlf~##Support M&A opportunities and strategic projects from a finance perspective, e.g. by challenging initiatives and coordinating finance relevant input~crlf~##Prepare high quality board or senior management presentations ~crlf~##Act as main contact person for and coordinate with relevant business functions and local senior management, e.g. Sales, Underwriting, Market Management and Corporate Development on relevant topics~crlf~##Support process optimization and harmonization for all LoB relevant processes by implementing the results of the global Finance Excellence program in the own area of responsibility~crlf~
##Master’s degree in business administration or finance~crlf~##Relevant experience in financial services of at least 5 to 10 years~crlf~##Strong expertise in finance for insurance companies (focus property and casualty); reinsurance background is a plus~crlf~##Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment ~crlf~##Ability to communicate complex issues and build rapport with top management~crlf~##Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)~crlf~
