Business Development Manager (m/w/d)

As Business Development Manager (m/w/d), you will be responsible to seek, develop and maintain Specialty Lines – Warranty & Credit Protection - products with Automotive clients as well as other channels.~crlf~ ~crlf~You will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing all aspects of the business development lifecycle in support of the business goals and client’s needs, in cooperation with other departments and entities of Allianz Partners and Allianz Group. You will be expected to proactively identify new business opportunities and bring them to fruition.~crlf~~crlf~In more details, this includes:~crlf~##Developing business concepts for Specialty Lines across all sales channels and geographies that support the strategic development of Specialty Lines~crlf~##Understanding and defining all aspects of the business to drive sales through our distribution channels~crlf~##Identifying, seeking and closing business opportunities with full accountability~crlf~##Developing and establishing business models, client management processes and product/distribution concepts leveraging existing products and market expertise~crlf~##Conducting ongoing competitive analyses of capabilities, as well as identifying trends and potential measures for improvement~crlf~##Ensuring timely and successful delivery of product line to market

##Excellent sales and business development skills~crlf~##Strong conceptual skills with the ability to regard processes holistically as well as develop alternative solutions independently~crlf~##Strong understanding of sales themes and concepts of varying levels of complexity~crlf~##Analytical, self-motivated and keen to work in a challenging and dynamic environment~crlf~##Safe and competent occurrence with clear customer focus~crlf~##Proven problem solving skills, the ability to decide between different solution options and negotiate them with other (internal and external) stakeholders~crlf~##Proven team player~crlf~##Excellent communication and presentation (written and verbal) as well as interpersonal skills~crlf~

##Excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics or related fields of study ~crlf~##3-4 years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, business development or sales~crlf~##Expertise in the automotive and insurance industry and ideally first experience in warranty or credit protection~crlf~##Experience in project management with international focus~crlf~##Very sharp analytic and conceptual skills~crlf~##Very good command of English (written and spoken); Other additional language is a plus (e.g., German)~crlf~##Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)~crlf~~crlf~
