Life Internal Sales Consultant Manager - Minneapolis
The Life Internal Sales Consultant Manager is responsible for increasing growth of life insurance product sales, achieving top-line and bottom line goals. This role will direct activities of the internal sales staff, support product and sales initiatives, and develop, recommend and implement strategic initiatives to drive sales and strengthen relationships both internally and external.
Sales Consulting: Responsible for growth and performance of internal sales staff including direct accountability for sales targets through Life production. Responsible for partnering with external team to create and drive sales strategies and initiatives that improve efficiency and productivity while creating sales opportunities and improving overall profitability. This may include: increasing Life Club qualifiers, bringing MIA producers back in to production and successfully onboarding new producers.~crlf~People Leadership: Supervise a team of internal sales staff. Includes: coordination of compensation-related information, performance reviews, succession planning and recruitment activity. Also responsible for coaching and mentoring of staff on turning contacts into sales opportunities, building relationships, advanced~crlf~segmentation, and prospecting/sales techniques.~crlf~Time, Quality and Reporting Management: Ensure that activity reporting is completed accurately and on time. Responsible for executing daily/weekly call coaching on agent contacts, building relationships and obtaining feedback from top producers. Compile and report on identified trends and conduct targeted training sessions with internal sales staff as needed.~crlf~
Minimum Requirements:~crlf~– 4-5 years experience required: 3+ years prior sales experience.~crlf~– Four-year degree required: Or equivalent experience.~crlf~– Active MN Life Insurance license.~crlf~~crlf~Preferred:~crlf~– 6-7 years experience preferred: Sales experience in financial services/insurance industry; direct people management experience~crlf~
