Internal Sales Consultant I/II/III for Allianz Life Insurance products. Provides consultative sales services via 800 line. The Internal Sales Consultant will influence independent agents to write Allianz business with objective of attaining regionally based sales targets through emphasis on focus firms. Sales efforts are aligned to sales targets of external Life team. This role directly impacts Allianz Life’s Top Line Growth.

Sales Consulting: ~crlf~Utilizes thorough knowledge of Allianz Life Insurance products to turn each agent contact into an opportunity to gain commitment from the agent for business. ~crlf~Probes to identify what company the agent is selling for and positions Allianz products against the competition. Utilizes existing marketing materials to promote Allianz products against the competition including Allianz Life’s value added programs. ~crlf~Meets and exceeds key performance benchmarks with an emphasis on attainment of sales goals. ~crlf~Utilizes databases and other data collection methods to track agent production levels on current and proposed sales activity including agent feedback and comments. ~crlf~Once proficient in role, begins to make outbound calls and build a small book of business (agents) to create long-term future sales opportunities. ~crlf~Exhibits decision making through identifying agents having the potential of doing more business with Allianz. ~crlf~Exhibits initiative to grow the relationship and production status from identified agents.~crlf~~crlf~Interaction with Division & Enterprise: ~crlf~Generates and communicates agent activity and pertinent information to Internal Sales Supervisor, External team and Channel Head.~crlf~Communicates industry trends and competitor information to Division Management Team. ~crlf~Communicates field reaction to product rollout marketing strategy and existing product marketing efforts.~crlf~~crlf~

- 2-3 years of sales experience preferred.~crlf~- Prior industry experience preferred.~crlf~- MN Life & Health Insurance license required or willing to obtain in 30 days.~crlf~- Four year degree required or equivalent work experience.~crlf~Comfortable with talking on the phone as their primary activity.~crlf~Ability to work during the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm CST.~crlf~Ability to attend occasional evening business functions.~crlf~~crlf~
