Growth & Marketing Controls Principal

Under limited supervision, works with business partners, key stakeholders, and management to identify, translate and provide consultation on business opportunities that result in improved controls and business results across Growth & Marketing. Coordinates and facilitates medium to large-scale initiatives focused on mitigating risk by developing and~crlf~implementing guidance, recommending improvements to processes/documentation and increasing general knowledge of controls within the division. Assesses risks, identifies and evaluates controls to ensure internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements are upheld and risks are controlled.

* Work with system owners, control owners, leaders, and SMEs across Growth and Marketing teams to ensure their processes and controls are designed effectively and in compliance with all company and external (legal, regulatory, customer) requirements. Identify key gaps between current state and desired end state risk appetite.~crlf~* Develop and maintain department-wide control guidance and requirements.~crlf~* Develop and conduct training for leaders and subject matter experts on process and policy design and documentation; control design; quality assurance, and related functions~crlf~* Complete testing and quality assurance on key functions.~crlf~* Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners to stay current and aligned with function/company-wide initiatives and business priorities; monitor industry trends~crlf~

Experience:~crlf~* 6-7 years experience required: in audit, risk management, compliance, or other relevant technical and/or business experience. Experience in risk management and control design and assessment preferred. Highly organized and self motivated.~crlf~Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~* 8-10 years experience preferred: Public accounting or internal audit experience; Insurance experience; COSO Certificate; Agile experience; CPA, CIA or MBA.~crlf~ Four-year degree required: Or equivalent experience~crlf~
