Job Summary:~crlf~Generate fundamental company research consistent with team philosophy. Focus on new idea generation, fundamental research, company monitoring, credit monitoring and trading. Mastery of analysis tools. Focus will be on high yield, convertibles, equities, and loans.~crlf~~crlf~Responsibilities:~crlf~## Produce recommendations for team using established process and seek out new ways to identify investment opportunities.~crlf~## Function well within the team and communicate ideas thoroughly.~crlf~## Gather and assemble information to analyze companies using both subjective and quantitative tools.~crlf~## Utilize both internal and external research sources. Expertise in accounting and financial statement analysis.~crlf~## Daily monitoring and review of research news flow.~crlf~## Maintain and enhance network of relationships with brokers, analysts and other portfolio managers in the industry.~crlf~## Participate in the skill development programs, both internal and external.~crlf~~crlf~

Requirements:~crlf~## Minimum of 5 years financial or investment research experience~crlf~## MS Word, Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet, Thompson One~crlf~## Investment software applications ~crlf~~crlf~Preferred:~crlf~## MBA or CFA* (*in progress)~crlf~## High degree of motivation and initiative~crlf~## Excellent verbal and written communication skills~crlf~## Capacity to work well in a team environment~crlf~~crlf~
