SR Litigation Analyst
The SR Litigation Analyst is responsible for assisting the General Counsel Attorneys and Claims department in responding to subpoenas, e-discovery compliance, legal research, drafting Non-disclosure /Confidentiality Agreements and document review and production. In addition, the Senior Litigation Analyst will:~crlf~##Be a subject matter expert for Legal X and Legal tracker reporting and data pulls~crlf~##Participating in internal investigations for code of conduct, whistleblower and ethics violations~crlf~##Establishing procedures to process invoices for various bill payment systems and researching documents located in the claims and underwriting systems
##Subpoenas: Understanding what documents are being requested. Requesting the documents from various departments and producing the appropriate documents ~crlf~##Legal X and Legal Tracker: Owner of the process to create reports and analyze legal spend~crlf~##e-discovery and litigation holds: Recognize the need for litigation holds and owner of the process to issue and monitor litigation holds for both Claims and Corporate Litigation. Ownership of the AGCS e-discovery process, which includes working directly with in-house and external counsel to produce the legally required electronic discovery. By owning the process, the Analyst will draft search terms, review the data from the search and produce only the relevant documents. By driving the e-discovery process, the Analyst will help reduce outside legal fees, by reviewing and producing only relevant documents. ~crlf~##Investigation: Assisting with internal investigations, including alleged Ethics violations, Fraud ( employees, vendors and insureds ) & Code of Conduct violations. The Analyst will review documents, conduct interviews and draft recommendations. The Analyst will also work with outside law enforcement agencies to pursue recovery or other actions when warranted by the investigation results.~crlf~##Supporting Corp collections: Basic understanding of Bankruptcy and Notices of claims. Working directly with Corporate collections on issues regarding collecting deductibles & premiums. ~crlf~##Subject Matter Expert: Non Disclosure Agreements: Review and opine on sufficiency of NDA and Confidentiality Agreements for both Claims and UW.~crlf~~crlf~
##Bachelor Degree: 4 year college degree~crlf~##Certification: Paralegal Certificate or Legal Assistant Certificate~crlf~##Minimum 3 to 5 years: Experience working in a lawfirm or Corporate Legal department with significant litigation support responsibilities. ~crlf~##Knowledge of Supoena process for both Federal and State Courts. ~crlf~##Knowledge of civil Litigation process~crlf~##Knowledge of Federal Bankruptcy Laws~crlf~##Knowledge of e-discovery process for civil litigation~crlf~##Expert: Communication skills: Ability to express ideas and message clearly, both written and verbally~crlf~##Advanced: Analytical skills: ability to analyze civil litigation documents and determine best course of action.~crlf~~crlf~
