This is a regional role that will oversee the delivery of full lifecycle development and implementation of solutions and platforms. The applicant needs to drive the implementation roadmap in working with senior stakeholders, key functional leads (product, operations, IT etc.) across countries and multiple AZ organizations where needed.
~crlf~Responsible for the project governance, execution assurance for all the project deliverables, checking for quality, completeness and adherence to quality toll-gates~crlf~~crlf~Work closely with regional and country leads, and various senior stakeholders in managing program in an agile framework while ensuring the project is compliant within the Project Governance Framework and PMO policies. ~crlf~~crlf~Tracking and managing project progress, from envision through to deployment & tracking the overall budget, milestones, risks & issues and changes ~crlf~~crlf~Identifying, managing, resolving or mitigating cross team risks; escalates unresolved issues to the regional and country leads and Steering Committee(SC) to steer mid-course readjustments as appropriate~crlf~~crlf~Responsible to provide periodic status updates/reports to various stakeholders on project progress and health.~crlf~~crlf~Prioritize development activities across releases and/or projects.~crlf~~crlf~Responsible for the developing and managing the project plan for the scope of delivery.~crlf~~crlf~Where applicable, serve as a single point of contact for the OE and must be capable of managing initiative based portfolios in a multi matrixed environment.~crlf~~crlf~Escalation point for unresolved problems and complaints.~crlf~~crlf~Managing cross functional team of business analysts/product owners, project managers, application developers and testers.~crlf~~crlf~Responsible for recruiting, retaining and performance management of a high performing team~crlf~~crlf~Product Roadmap management~crlf~~crlf~Business requirement management~crlf~~crlf~Business partner management~crlf~~crlf~Develop and drive the implementation strategy for the regional platform~crlf~~crlf~
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and conflict management skills.~crlf~Assertive nature, sound negotiation and project planning skills.~crlf~Strong business and functional knowledge in insurance P&C domain.~crlf~Proven experience in building digital and core platforms from scratch and legacy system transformation.~crlf~Experience bringing together and building cross functional delivery teams~crlf~Proven experience in project management of multiple initiatives with competing priority and disparate resourcing ~crlf~Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization, including executive management~crlf~Collaborative, with flexibility of working with different teams in Digital and across firm~crlf~Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace, and the banking regulatory environment~crlf~Master Degree in management or equivalent; MBA preferred~crlf~Working knowledge with some collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence ~crlf~~crlf~
