Fund Lifecycle Operations Specialist (f/m/d)
We have recently built a distributed team which coordinates life cycle events such as fund and directive launches, portfolio transfers or custody changes within the AllianzGI Operations function to ensure operational readiness for such events from Operations perspective. The distributed team consists of three sub-teams, one in Asia-Pacific, one team dealing with retail and pooled vehicle events for Europe and the US, and one team which processes life cycle events for institutional portfolios in Europe and the US.~crlf~~crlf~We are looking continuously to further harmonize activities across the different regions and products and along the operations value chain. This relates mainly to middle office, collateral management, fund accounting and custody-related activities. To achieve these goals and strengthen our processes we have started to focus stronger on digital solutions and automation, mainly in the area of static data and workflow support.~crlf~~crlf~You will support the further planned digitalization ideas from a business perspective. This comes along with the independent and pro-active identification of standardization and automation potential, aligning with IT and supporting implementation.~crlf~~crlf~Are you keen to take ownership for handling product life cycle events for Operations coordinating internal partners such as Distribution, Investments and Products as well as external parties, such as middle office providers, accounting providers and custodians in order to process events in an efficient, stable and with the requested quality?
##Ongoing review of our daily work and processes to identify harmonization and automation potential within the institutional team, but also across the international team~crlf~##Develop and document target processes, align with relevant partners to optimize the process and/or align with (external) IT to automate processes~crlf~##Maintain the relationship to our major internal partners (Distribution, Investments, Products)~crlf~##Act with a service oriented approach to ensure the completion of change events from an operational perspective~crlf~##Processing events mainly for institutional funds and mandates and coordinate with our main external providers along the value chain (middle office, collateral manager, fund accounting, custodian, etc.)~crlf~##Prepare change requests and support other internal teams regarding processing of change requests to our external service provider as well as oversight and tracking of these requests~crlf~
##Supporting the introduction of new instruments end-to-end within the Operations scope is your passion!~crlf~##Proficient in English & German with strong communication skills, written and verbal, are a must~crlf~##Shown experience and ability to work well in an international, diverse and highly interdisciplinary environment~crlf~##Excellent knowledge of the asset management value chain front, middle and back office (incl. trade management, fund accounting, custody, collateral management, FX)~crlf~##Validated knowledge and experience with German Master KVG business, knowledge of other European markets are a plus~crlf~##Good knowledge of financial instruments (equity, bonds, ETDs, OTCs)~crlf~##Several years previous operational asset management experience including onboarding of investment portfolios (retail funds, institutional funds, mandates)~crlf~##Shown competence in project management, certification is a plus!~crlf~##Ability and experience to coordinate initiatives for sophisticated changes with a large number of internal and external partners and to collaborate and work efficient with these departments~crlf~##Experience in process analysis and operational improvement as well as automation and the implementation of digital solutions (databases, workflow tool, RPA, AI)~crlf~##Ability to pro-actively review existing processes and set-ups and develop proposals for further optimization~crlf~##Do you have a detailed understanding of existing digital solutions in financial markets / asset management?~crlf~
