We are looking for an Assistant, located in the New York office, providing direct administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for AllianzGI US.~crlf~~crlf~Responsibilities will include:~crlf~~crlf~## Coordinate and attend departmental meetings; handle agenda, minutes and follow-up tasks~crlf~## Assist with managing and coordinating calendars for internal and external scheduling of meetings~crlf~## Perform administrative tasks such as expenses, phone coverage, conference room booking, ordering supplies, travel coordination, check requests, etc.~crlf~## Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as required; willingness to help across teams within the Technology, Operations and Products group~crlf~
## Minimum of 7 years of experience working in the financial services industry and/or Institutional investment advisory experience preferred~crlf~## Highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented person who is comfortable working both independently and within a team environment~crlf~## Experienced in Outlook calendar functions~crlf~## Excellent in Microsoft software products including Word and PowerPoint~crlf~## Experienced in handling cross regional topics and meeting planning, organization~crlf~## Able to handle multiple assignments; knows how to prioritize; understands and adheres to standards of confidentiality~crlf~## Excellent technical skills; must be able to learn various software systems~crlf~## Self-motivated, personable and able to communicate effectively with global senior professionals~crlf~## Excellent written and verbal communication skills~crlf~## Bachelor’s degree preferred~crlf~~crlf~
