Independent from the job level, an auditor should maintain appropriate technical skills as well as agility and a commitment to continuous learning.~crlf~~crlf~The ability to see the big picture is important for audit planning. But more importantly, an auditor has to be curious and driven to dig for the truth when the answers do not seem right. Good auditors focus on targeted questions which allow them to verify information from different angles.~crlf~~crlf~The audit profession is always about people. Auditors need to have the ability to deal with all types of people and business situations. Therefore, an auditor should be open minded, a good listener, able to empathize with the auditee and understand the situation from their perspective.~crlf~~crlf~To become a trusted partner to the business, communication skills are key. Verbal face-to-face communication is essential for an auditor's work, especially when delivering problematic or challenging conclusions to key stakeholders. It requires finesse and diplomacy.

Identify the business risks at an early stage and advise managers and their departments on how to improve the controls.~crlf~~crlf~Define risk-based audit areas, perform audits independently, lead and supervise audit assignments, maintain the audit system and ensure everything has been properly documented. Senior Auditors lead closing meetings and are responsible for the follow-up to ensure the auditee has implemented the recommendations adequately, so that the findings can be closed in a timely manner.~crlf~~crlf~Involve in sharing best practices, developing and improving audit methodology. ~crlf~~crlf~Assist in:~crlf~-~crlf~Methodology (development and especially uniform implementation)~crlf~-~crlf~Audit Universe and Planning~crlf~-~crlf~Audit Tools (and aligned use in the region)~crlf~-~crlf~Quality Assurance (for the whole region)~crlf~-~crlf~Reporting~crlf~~crlf~

•~crlf~Degree in Business, actuarial, finance ~crlf~•~crlf~The incumbent have 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in internal/external audit or equivalent and in-depth experience in 1-2 business areas.~crlf~•~crlf~Preferably from Financial Service industry such as Insurance, banking etc. ~crlf~•~crlf~The role includes approximately 30% travel within Asia Pacific. As such, fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, or Thai will be an added advantage.~crlf~•~crlf~Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ~crlf~•~crlf~Communication and Interpersonal skills; ~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to handle highly confidential issues; ~crlf~•~crlf~Strong organisational and controlling skills~crlf~~crlf~
