  • Key Responsibilities

    Financial Management and Technical Accounting for the APAC Region:~crlf~1.Oversee all aspects of Finance and Accounting Functions such as financial accounting, and financial controls in compliance with Group policies.~crlf~2.Handle month end closing for the APAC region in line with Group timelines and procedures.~crlf~3.Effective and efficient implementation of finance policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting that is consistent across the APAC region.~crlf~4.Ensure all transactions are supported with proper approval and relevant supporting documents as well as recorded in the accounting system.~crlf~5.Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.~crlf~6.Review and monitor the monthly operating results against budget.~crlf~7.Liaise with internal and external auditors related to technical accounting matters~crlf~8.Provide recommendations/improvements on various finance related processes and procedures.~crlf~~crlf~Finance Systems Management for the Region:~crlf~1.Manage, develop and maintain all financial systems in the region consistent with internal controls procedures and accounting policies and procedures.~crlf~2.Ensure the robustness of all finance systems taking into account any required enhancements and upgrades required.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Job Requirement:~crlf~1.Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Professional Certificates i.e. ACCA/ICAEW/CPA.~crlf~2.5 to 7 years working experience in insurance including at least 3 years in audit firm, preferably from Big 4/Insurance industry.~crlf~3.Knowledgeable in IFRS accounting standards.~crlf~4.Computer literate and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
