  • Key Responsibilities

    ##Technical pricing analysis to establish premium rates for international health propositions in the Individual/Family, SME and IGO/NGO segments~crlf~##Oversight, coordination and management of the day-to-day business activities of the pricing team~crlf~##Work with key business stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Legal, Market Management, Underwriting etc.) to review new business opportunities and assess alignment against growth, profitability and strategic objectives under the proposition development framework~crlf~##Review performance of existing propositions and propose rating action based on emerging performance, stakeholder feedback and market trends~crlf~##Proactively drive acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including client and broker negotiations where necessary) in conjunction with frontline sales/sales support teams~crlf~##Support the development and implementation of new and modified product/market solutions through effective interactions with internal and external stakeholders ~crlf~##Maintain exacting standards on deadline delivery for the pricing team~crlf~##Review and refine pricing guidelines and methodologies to deliver high-quality technical analysis and drive profitable growth ~crlf~##Review and develop business processes to drive business efficiencies and quality of service to internal and external stakeholders~crlf~##Work with Head of Pricing and Chief Underwriting Officer to develop, define and execute pricing strategy for Individual/Family, SME and IGO/NGO segments to deliver a market leading position and achievement of financial targets~crlf~##Develop and refine existing underwriting guidelines to respond to evolving market practices and emerging experience and ensure continued alignment with broader Az Group requirements~crlf~##Collate internal data to support the annual renewal of the Az Care reinsurance programme and liaise with Az Group and external reinsurers to establish reinsurance framework proposals for review by senior management ~crlf~##Drive and proactively monitor the pricing governance framework to ensures consistency and alignment across Pricing and Underwriting teams globally ~crlf~##Positively represent Allianz Care internally within the Allianz Group, and externally to the market~crlf~##Proactively drive involvement of functional areas in the pricing process, including e.g. Actuarial, Finance, Operations, Legal~crlf~##Lead and manage the pricing team, ensuring organizational structure and processes are best fit to serve external and internal customers

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Significant experience (minimum of c.10 years) in technical pricing analysis in relevant line of business~crlf~##Significant experience (minimum of c.5 vears) in pricing management position in relevant line of business~crlf~##Preferably third level degree and / or professional insurance qualification~crlf~##Experience of working in a large, complex global financial services organization~crlf~##Successful track record of leadership of direct teams and matrix environments~crlf~##Experience of working internationally~crlf~##Experience of leading change in various business scenarios including restructuring and integration ~crlf~##Proven track record of developing innovative solutions to business challenges~crlf~##Evidence of a proactive, focused and structured attitude to work and an ability to constantly meet deadlines ~crlf~##Strong analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail. ~crlf~##Strong communication (verbal & written), project and time management skills ~crlf~##Ability to work and manage team and their workload independently without direct supervision and oversight ~crlf~##Fluency in French and English (business language)~crlf~##Possess a solid IT background; ability to demonstrate programming experience and writing database queries would be an advantage
