Conversion Rate Optimization Strategist

  • Job Purpose/ Role

    This role owns the strategy and execution of all optimization experiments focused on improving conversion, customer experience, revenue, and profitability. Collects and analyzes data from a variety of sources to develop a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and how that behavior can be utilized to optimize KPIs. Manages the user experience (UX) optimization process end-to-end by creating an optimization schedule, managing all components of project execution, analyzing test results, and communicating them to internal and external stakeholders. Ensures experiment ideas meet defined goals through a combination of proper strategy, placement, and speed of tests. Has a deep understanding of A/B/n and multivariate testing methods and tools and how to turn prospects into customers

  • Key Responsibilities

    ## Develops and executes conversion optimization plans for each assigned business partner ~crlf~## Drives the development of key UI/UX experiences which will incorporate high-level interaction navigation, and organization design ~crlf~## Collaborates with other Optimization Strategists, Marketing and CX Managers, Copywriters, Designers and UI /UX Developers to plan and develop new marketing experiments ~crlf~## Creates mockups and visual prototypes as required ~crlf~## Interacts with partner representatives and work collaboratively within assigned Work Team to lead experimentation efforts to optimize customer experience and revenue, while meeting partner and profitability requirements ~crlf~## Tracks and manages all experiment approvals from the appropriate stakeholders ~crlf~## Reviews sites and leverage data to gain insight into user experience and behavior, trending, site usability and effectiveness, and presents actionable insights and recommendations based on data results and best practices ~crlf~## Plans and develop A/B/n and multivariate experiments with clear and measurable objectives that meet partner and Allianz goals ~crlf~## Plans the optimal mix of new and proven ideas in the right segments to maximize KPIs ~crlf~## Accurately documents all experiments with relevant data, including hypothesis, test idea, approval documentation tracking, mock-ups, and any instructions to properly execute the tests ~crlf~## Professionally presents and communicates experiment ideas, plans and results with both internal and external clients ~crlf~## Manages multiple customer segments and experiment timelines according to partner goals ~crlf~## Prepares reports related to conversion experimentation activities and strategies by partner and business unit ~crlf~## Collaborates with Sales, Product and Analytics teams to develop new insurance products as required ~crlf~## Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Bachelor's degree in communication, psychology, business administration, UX web design, digital analytics, market research or related field or combination of relevant education and work experience~crlf~##Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience~crlf~##Experience in project management and planning is preferred~crlf~##Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills~crlf~##Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present findings at all levels~crlf~##Strong background in e-commerce web analytics implementation, data tagging, reporting, optimization is preferred~crlf~##Experience with strategies for improving conversion on websites and at the offer level is preferred~crlf~##Proficiency with Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Omniture, Optimizely, Maxymizer or other front-end testing tools and analytical platforms is a plus~crlf~##Knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery, Filemaker is preferred
