  • Job Purpose/ Role

    Reporting to the Head of Global Deskside & VIP support, with strong technical and communication skills, the Senior Deskside Support (DSS) Analyst is responsible for managing the "Global workplace" environment of Allianz Technology US, offering constant evolution to end-users. The Senior DSS Analyst continuously improves and guarantees the smooth-running of the Workplace in a complex and international context. The Analyst is involved in business projects and keeps a constant eye on new technologies in order to improve global users' deskside, taking into account the specific needs of different regions. This is done by conducting analyses, providing technical solutions, researching and documenting IT processes, systems and technical designs. These tasks will be carried out through regular operational work on DSS-related tasks, as well as by playing a key role in specific projects. The role involves a lot of coordination and communication with other stakeholders around the globe both in the IT Service team, business managers 3rd Party Vendors.~crlf~~crlf~The role requires you to be the SCCM System Admin for US packaging deployments, rollouts of software and coordinate with the patching team. GPO experience a big Plus.

  • Key Responsibilities

    1) Pre-requisite: Expertise in Microsoft operating systems Windows 7 and 10 Expertise in Microsoft SCCM Administration (Application, Microsoft & 3rd party), software update deployments (Ivanti Patch), Querying and Reporting, Software Metering & Windows 10 Servicing), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for Windows Gold image creation~crlf~2) Preferred: Good experience on Video conferencing systems, Good experience in Maintenance and deployment (OSD) for the business (sole responsibility), Active Directory and Group Policy creation, deployment and Management (AGPM) Good experience in the CMDB management Good understanding of hardware including 3rd Party Vendor Global SKU Management (Microsoft Surface Pro, HP, Fujitsu and Lenovo Laptops) for the team Good understanding of LAN/WAN Network and VoIP Good knowledge of print server administration & maintenance Experience of Licensing Management. GPO experience a big PLUS.~crlf~Experience of Mobile Device Support (iPhone, AirWatch, iPads, Microsoft Surface Pro) ITIL Foundation certified or good understanding of ITIL processes including Change Management (attending CAB)

    Degree in IT Engineering / SCCM Admin at least 5 years' experience in an IT department handling complex Windows desk side issues, ideally in an international context Understanding of Business Continuity Processes Experience managing projects (ideally Prince 2 qualified). GPO Experience a big Plus. Ability to conduct analyses and research Able to express ideas and messages clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally Comfortable presenting and discussing complex ideas with non-technical stakeholders and managers Able to steer and negotiate with service providers Able to influence others Fluent English and at ease in an international and multi-cultural environment.
