IT Pricing Manager

  • Job Purpose/ Role

    As the Manager of Pricing, you will drive the pricing strategy and execution across the Allianz Technology of America portfolio. You will develop new and innovative pricing and packaging strategies to drive growth, you will continuously assess pricing and packaging needs, define new business cases, customer segmentation, benchmark and competitive analysis as well as financial models. You will drive a cross-functional process, including with our Sales and Product organizations, to set pricing for new and existing offerings, establish pricing for individual customers, and ensure end-to-end execution of pricing plans.

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Working with Sales and Product Service Owners to complete service pricing activities for new and changed services.~crlf~• Leading the pricing process, preparing recommendations on pricing improvements for executive leadership and implementing changes. ~crlf~• Collaborating across business functions to ensure timely and quality pricing input from procurement, asset management, software licensing, HR, and Product Service Owners/Managers. ~crlf~• Maintaining the tools and procedures for the Pricing process; updating and managing the Pricing Catalog. ~crlf~• Review and optimize existing service pricing.~crlf~• Support and perform competitive analysis and benchmarking activities

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Minimum qualifications:~crlf~•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.~crlf~•5+ years of experience at a management consulting firm or leading pricing and strategy for a technology firm.~crlf~•Experience leading operational and strategic initiatives in B2B enterprise technology.~crlf~•Experience presenting to executives and communicating with technical management teams.~crlf~Preferred qualifications:~crlf~•Master's or PhD in Economics, Finance, and/or Engineering, or a similar technical/quantitative field.~crlf~•Experience defining, supporting, and/or managing pricing decisions.~crlf~•Experience with IT infrastructure services and consumption-based business models.~crlf~•Track record of successful performance with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.~crlf~•Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills, combined with effective business judgment.~crlf~•Effective written and verbal communication skills.
