Continuous Improvement Manager

Allianz Technology is looking for employees to work remotely and if in person meetings are required employees would go to a central work location in Chicago, Minneapolis, Richmond or Mill City (California).~crlf~~crlf~The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for identifying areas of the Allianz Technology of America (ATA) business and organization that require improvement, based on findings from employee and leadership feedback forums. The Continuous Improvement Manager will manage a changing group of nominated business users in projects that provide the required improvements. This role will also be responsible for independently managing core improvement project(s) including identifying the root cause of issues, selecting the appropriate resolution activities, planning and executing the resolution project, and effectively communication the change across all levels of the organization. The role will also provide periodic reporting on Continuous Improvement projects to executive leadership.

* Manage team of ATA business users nominated for part-time dedication to continuous improvement projects~crlf~* Design the Continuous Improvement function, including: mission, goals, objectives, working structure, and communication model~crlf~* Develop, maintain, and improve the process for nomination of business users to continuous improvement project roles~crlf~* Contribute to the selection of business users each year for assignment to part-time special projects~crlf~* Analyze employee feedback forums to discern operational improvement opportunities~crlf~* Independently manage one or more organizational improvement projects each year~crlf~* Develop, maintain, and improve a tracking mechanism to evaluate individual project success and combined project success toward organizational improvement~crlf~* Develop periodic tracking system and review cycle to monitor success of implemented improvements~crlf~* Conduct organizational alignment sessions to review the synergies available for developing a leadership pathway model for employees~crlf~

* Three years in a project management role, required~crlf~* Experience working in consultative roles across multiple business units~crlf~* Experience in managing non-direct reporting teams~crlf~* Experience working in Information Technology environment, preferred~crlf~* Bachelor’s Degree in strategic communication, management, or related field, preferred~crlf~* PMI, Six Sigma or similar certification, preferred~crlf~
