AC provides insurance solutions for health, life and disability on a global scale and is the International Health division of Allianz Partners and part of the Allianz Group. ~crlf~ ~crlf~The AzTech B2B2C IT Development team is responsible for developing and supporting all of the IT applications used within AC as well as providing other technical services to the wider Allianz Group.~crlf~ ~crlf~This role within the AzTech B2B2C IT Development team, is a great opportunity to join a multi-disciplined engineering team. We work with fast paced, growing companies within Allianz so our engineering teams leverage a variety of technologies and applications to continuously enhance and improve our client offerings and services.

##Collect, analyze and check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into the technical software design~crlf~##Design, develop, test, debug, document and implement software or application components of third-party software and of operating system-related software~crlf~##Design, build and maintain high quality document templates (authored in Thunderhead) and any associated technical collateral (code, scripts, etc.)~crlf~##Design and build of appropriate style sets, scripts, and shared content~crlf~##Ensure consistent design patterns, methodologies, unit testing and design documentation are maintained across all project.~crlf~##Support any release management, functional testing and user testing of projects~crlf~##Work with business SME’s, IT Developers, Business Analysts and other project sponsors to translate functional requirements into technical solutions~crlf~##Build an understanding of back office business logic and product offerings to deliver comprehensive solutions~crlf~##Adhere to project lifecycle development methodologies and processes~crlf~##Adhere to all marketing brand styles and guidelines~crlf~##Help provide in-house support for error resolution and changes to Production Thunderhead resources within agreed SLAs~crlf~

##Higher education degree in IT, mathematics, physics or similar or apprenticeship as IT expert with specialization in software development and / or comparable IT experience (in particular algorithms) ~crlf~##Understanding of the tools, methods and procedures for development and testing, programming languages and basis frameworks~crlf~##Thunderhead NOW Authoring experience highly desirable, but not essential~crlf~##Experience of XSL:FO in particular advantageous~crlf~##Experience in some light development such as Java, XML, XSD & HTML is an advantage ~crlf~##Experience with database query tools / good SQL skills a plus~crlf~##Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)~crlf~##Fluent English language skills a must~crlf~##Appropriate work permits to work in Ireland~crlf~##Competence to manage tasks in demanding and unfamiliar situations with problem solving skills based on practice and precedent ~crlf~##Ability to cooperate efficiently with clients and different departments as well as willingness to support new team members ~crlf~
