Software Architect (m/f/d) Batchplatform Microfocus
The department A-CP05PMS ABS Program Management, Migrations & Services, is responsible for program management, release and rollout management for the functional and technical expansion, application operation, application performance and tuning, service layer and central batch processing of the Allianz Business System (ABS) of Allianz Germany. We are also responsible for the system architecture, its development, maintenance, its interaction with division and core components, and in particular its high-performance in online and batch operation.~crlf~ ~crlf~As largest insurance company in Europe, Allianz Deutschland has set itself the goal of expanding its~crlf~cross-divisional inventory management system (ABS Allianz Business System) from a mainframe~crlf~environment to a Linux-based system with Microfocus. Data management is currently done in an IBM DB2 database, which is processed by PL1 batches and stored procedures. For interaction with other systems of the insurance business mainly IBM MQSeries is used. In addition to the production platform including operations, we will also migrate the development and test environments.

##Degree in computer science or comparable education and proven work experience combined with a continuing interest in challenging technical issues and further developments~crlf~##Several years of professional experience in building and operating business-critical applications, ideally in the financial services sector and experience in migrating mainframe applications to Linux-based systems~crlf~##Proven experience or certifications in the field of architecture process models~crlf~##Proven experience in client/server and host architectures and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and its virtualization (XEN/Docker)~crlf~##Several years of professional experience in PL1 software development and knowledge of DB2 and MQ~crlf~##Willingness to participate in on-call duty and weekend assignments~crlf~##Entrepreneurial thinking and analytical skills, as well as a goal- and performance-oriented working method with a high level of quality awareness and customer orientation, coupled with good communication skills, especially in complex situations~crlf~##Ability to work in teams, flexibility, high resilience and social competence, as well as distinct ability to deal with conflicts together with a convincing appearance, assertiveness and willingness to make decisions~crlf~##Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and good knowledge of English~crlf~##Autonomous and independent working method as well as high problem solving competence including multiple sources of information~crlf~##Profound communication skills and the ability to negotiate with heterogeneous target groups, e.g. at senior management level~crlf~
