This role in Allianz Technology Ireland is a great opportunity to lead multi-disciplined engineering teams (Angular, Java & Oracle). Reporting to the Head of Development, the key responsibilities of this position will be to work with all relevant local, regional and Allianz group stakeholders to plan and manage key application development projects. The Senior IT Development Manager will be responsible for managing all IT Development teams (local and offshore) to ensure successful execution of all projects by the relevant deadlines. ~crlf~ ~crlf~The role will primarily focus on application, project and people management development thereby demonstrating Allianz Technology's commitment to:~crlf~##Strong project governance.~crlf~##Effective and efficient business solutions.~crlf~##Delivering projects on time and within budget.~crlf~##Provide leadership and direction to development teams~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience Required:~crlf~##Minimum of 15 years industry experience in an IT development. ~crlf~##Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multi-disciplined (Angular, Java & Oracle) IT development teams including experience of managing managers. 2-3 years as a Senior Manager.~crlf~##Experience of working in a client-driven environment, with a proven track record of leading technology delivery into live operational systems.~crlf~##Excellent team and people management skills. Proven experience in managing teams based locally and offshore.~crlf~##Excellent project management skills; demonstrable ability to concurrently develop project plans and see projects through to successful completion within established time frames / budget / resources.~crlf~##Proven track record of continuous improvement, innovation and creativity.~crlf~##Experience in managing multiple, diverse customers with competing demands.~crlf~##Thorough understanding and hands-on experience of all the major Software Development Life Cycles.~crlf~##Experience in the financial and insurance industries is desirable.~crlf~##3rd level qualification in IT or Engineering related discipline.

##Relevant work experience in area of responsibility~crlf~##Knowledge of common process landscapes and standards as well as our general products and services ~crlf~##Possessing analytical thinking and methodological and conceptual techniques~crlf~##Applying training, developing, coaching, mentoring and mediation skills~crlf~##Higher education degree or equivalent work experience~crlf~##Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience ~crlf~##Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations~crlf~
