    The Global Digital Factory (GDF) is an organizational unit within Allianz Technology focusing on digital transformation. We aim to digitize and strengthen customer ties delivering reusable, customer-validated results. We put our customers first by using experimentation, data and testing to understand their true needs. We bring together various entities within the Allianz Group to deliver optimized customer experiences throughout existing business models worldwide. We aim to improve existing digital customer journeys and touch points and set the costumer into the center of all digital efforts. As a senior developer you will play a key role in developing new digital assets, taking them from design prototypes to live solutions in multiple countries. You will code but also provide guidance to external developer teams, ensure quality and facilitate knowledge exchange.   • Key Responsibilities

    ##Develop software in agile teams and support the implementation of software engineering techniques and methods~crlf~##Collect, analyze and check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into the technical software design~crlf~##Ensure the future maintainability of the systems as well as consideration of the technical & functional environment in the overall context of the development and maintenance of software~crlf~##Technical oversight of development teams, including mentoring of team members~crlf~##Technical design of new digital assets with special focus on reuse, adaptability and scalability~crlf~##Set up and improve development processes including quality gates and release management~crlf~##Set up development infrastructure in coordination with Allianz Agile Delivery Platform

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Successfully completed degree in computer sciences, business informatics or similar experience~crlf~##Min. 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise software development, IT infrastructure and technology roles working with product development teams, delivering and building digital products~crlf~##Strong hands on coding experience in Java and/or Angular~crlf~##Strong knowledge on software development technology stacks (from DevOps infrastructure to native apps)~crlf~##Strong knowledge in development platforms, infrastructure, pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development & incremental design~crlf~##Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations~crlf~##Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience
