Consistently drive corporate strategy by means of effective and efficient procurement practices and tender management, whilst consulting on, supervising and/or leading procurement activities and/or governance within the UK and Ireland Corporate Procurement remit.~crlf~ ~crlf~Manage and develop the Procurement team according to the Allianz leadership values and People Attributes. Supervise and lead the team based on objectives and priorities that can be derived from the Allianz Technology strategy and respective business area directions and steers the implementation and achievement of these.

##Develop and implement strategies for cost optimization, supplier consolidation, standardization, service delivery / quality improvements and process efficiency~crlf~##Make recommendations for improvements of the procurement processes and lead, steer respective projects~crlf~##Identifies and exploit opportunities to share best practices and rationalize sourcing activities across other Group OE’s and the GSP central function.~crlf~##Leads Cross functional collaboration and working to support the Suppliers ability to perform to quality, cost and schedule requirements ensuring SLAs are adequate and resolution contracted should failure occur.~crlf~##Through coordination and validation of sourcing initiatives, ensures compliance with all relevant aspects of the Procurement Governance framework.~crlf~##Leads and develops people in accordance with the Allianz People Attributes, leadership values and relevant guidelines~crlf~##Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the Company relevant to the IT Procurement Category on local and global level.~crlf~

##Relevant work experience in a procurement or related role~crlf~##Engagement and collaboration skills with understanding of organization and process-related customer requirements~crlf~##Expert IT Category and Procurement experience essential (ideally experience in a challenging corporate environment), including preparation and execution of tenders from identifying requirement through the cycle to renewal/ retender.~crlf~##Experience in managing, leading and developing a team~crlf~##Professional qualification desirable e.g. MCIPS/FCIPS.~crlf~##Readiness to mentor new team members and junior colleagues~crlf~##Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience~crlf~
