  • Job Purpose/ Role

    The department A-CP05-PLM ABS Program Life and Migration together with Business transformation of Allianz Deutschland AG and the product provider Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG is responsible for the functional enhancement of the application ABS (Allianz Business System) on host and client side, conducted in a close and agile cooperation. Moreover the transformation towards the Enterprise Edition in context of the open platform initiative, respectively ID Life is supported, as well as the migration from the classic system into ABS after completion of the functional enhancements.

  • Key Responsibilities

    ##Collect, analyze and check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into the technical software design ~crlf~##Ensure fulfillment of non-functional requirements of the solution, such as performance, data protection, IT security and ergonomics/usability~crlf~##Business design and test within the team’s agile work sharing~crlf~##Knowledge transfer, documentation and distinct cooperation within the agile team as well as to other entities within the ABS program~crlf~##Support and observation of the production system, incl. coordination, analysis and solution of problems~crlf~##Participation in specific working and project groups, role of agile master~crlf~##Ensure the future maintainability of the systems as well as consideration of the technical & functional environment in the overall context of the development and maintenance of software

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    ##Higher education degree in IT, mathematics, physics or similar or apprenticeship as IT expert with specialization in software development and / or comparable IT experience (in particular algorithms) ~crlf~##Consolidated knowledge of application and system-platforms, operating systems and interfaces ##Previous theoretical and practical experience in software development, Software architecture and business design~crlf~##At least 2 years of practical experience in developing with Java and RCP, Knowledge of products and processes of life insurance~crlf~##Expert: object orientated analysis, design and programming, Java, SQL; Master: Eclipse Rich Client Plattform, SWT/JFace, Java Design Patterns, JUNIT~crlf~##Knowledge on ABS: Architecture, DB and data model, client, process model and AE-tools (Jira, ObjectiF, HP ALM, HP PPM, AE-Info)~crlf~##Excellent communication skills and a high level of customer orientation, fluent in German and English, open minded towards positively managing change and passionate to continuously develop own skills and that of the team~crlf~##Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyze factual information ~crlf~##Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations
