Group Risk is responsible for pre-emptive monitoring and reporting of the risk profile for defined Allianz entities across the segments Insurance, Banking and Asset Management. Adherence to the Groups’ governance principles is the overarching target. The Group Risk Operations team is responsible for coordinating and running all closings and runs required for the Group Solvency II capital requirement calculation.~crlf~Operating excellence of this framework plays a key role to comply with future Solvency II standards.~crlf~The position of a risk analyst and budget controller focuses on two totally independent topics and makes the position interesting for candidates with an economic, mathematics or physics qualification with a business administration background. As a risk analyst on the one hand you support the risk operations team in the (group) risk capital calculations, you perform deep analyses related to the (group) risk capital calculations and report your results to the Head of Risk Operations. As a budget controller on the other hand you will support the strategic budget manager in budget controlling, planning and managing tasks incl. reports to the group chief risk officer. The combination of these two topics will give you a very good overview of total Group Risk activities. Reporting to the Head of Risk Operations and in close collaboration with the strategic Group Risk Budget Manager, you contribute to Group Risk with:~crlf~##Operative support and analysis of Risk Capital calculation for the Allianz Group with focus on market risk and risk aggregation, also with respect to the interface between business logic, model changes and IT implementation in the Risk systems;~crlf~##Taking over responsibility for budget controlling, planning, aggregation and preparation of presentations for Group Chief Risk Officer~crlf~##Service provider management and budget/ contract negotiations with service providers~crlf~##Drive management & regulatory risk reporting and analysis capabilities of Group Risk and Operating Entities both on the internal model and standard model;~crlf~##Support quarterly closing process, model change impact runs, stress test framework and related activities across Group Risk, Group Departments and at Allianz operating entities (OE’s);~crlf~##Drive self-reliant changes on the above responsibilities from the definition phase until testing and go-live;~crlf~

Qualification:~crlf~##Strong academic track record with relevant studies (diploma or master´s degree); University degree preferably in economics, mathematics, physics or alike with strong economic and business administration background~crlf~##MBA, Actuarial exam, CFA qualification, PRM/FRM or equivalent is a strong plus~crlf~##Fluent in Business English (written & spoken) is mandatory; German language skills are a plus~crlf~##Advanced knowledge of standard software (Excel, Access, Word incl. VBA, SAP)~crlf~##Knowledge of risk-related systems is a plus~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience & Key Skills:~crlf~##Good understanding of risk management concepts~crlf~##Good understanding of accounting and business administration~crlf~##High analytical and conceptual skills, ability to connect different pieces of information to create a holistic view~crlf~##Experience with risk systems and risk reporting~crlf~##Solvency II (both pillar 1 and 3) and regulatory knowledge is a plus~crlf~##2-5 years Working experience within an financial services environment, consulting firm or Risk Management Department~crlf~##Structuring to a large extent own work / analysis and executing work plans efficiently with the ability to deliver high-quality results~crlf~##Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with senior management~crlf~##High level of commitment and interest to work in a dynamic and demanding environment~crlf~##Ability to establish and maintain internal and external working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures~crlf~##Carrying out other special/ project-related tasks as needed~crlf~~crlf~
