The Commercial Manager works within the ‘Sales’ pillar of the IOC/IPC Partnership focussed on making Allianz the Insurer of the Sports Ecosystem. The worldwide scope of the partnership aims to establish opportunities for all local, regional and global insurance and reinsurance Operating Entities (OEs) and Assistance (ancillary insurance related services) of the Allianz Group in both Life & Health and Property & Casualty segments.~crlf~ ~crlf~As a core member of the Sales and Business Development team, the role includes execution focussed activities with collaborative OE and Global Lines Business Planning and Go to Market strategy development and execution in the Sports Ecosystem. Additionally the role shall identify and execute innovative commercial approaches to access customer segments in the Sports Ecosystem ensuring ROI via the partnership is achieved from both new business sales and profitability focussed technical underwritten products and solutions.

A.Global Business Development - Sales & Distribution Execution~crlf~##Collaboratively develop and execute commercial sizing, business planning & go to market strategy within agreed sports ecosystem layers and customer pools for monetisation of the Olympic & Paralympic Programs~crlf~##Access and drive lead generation / sales initiatives across the segment layers of the Sports Ecosystem in partnership with target OEs / Global Lines to win new business opportunities~crlf~##Develop simple & scalable sales practices to gain market share in the local sports ecosystems (also building on existing successful OE examples)~crlf~##Establish and coordinate cross divisional One Allianz virtual sales teams in key markets and layers of the Sports Ecosystem~crlf~##Support OEs in managing Distribution Partners relationships (Brokers / Agents / Digital) to increase profitable sales in the Sports Ecosystem~crlf~ ~crlf~B.Technical Excellence in the Sports Ecosystem~crlf~##Define, develop and scale up new Sports Ecosystem products, propositions and solutions in partnership with Group Centre of Excellence, Global Lines and OEs including challenging existing and establishing new models to generate profitable sales~crlf~##Create and collaborate with Allianz Group units on new Products & Propositions that meet Allianz Group standards of Underwriting, profitability, risk and develop models to manage sports ecosystem insurance related risk establishing sustainable and profitable portfolios~crlf~##Contribute to GSMD strategic priorities and new models with a focus on creating Customer Pull~crlf~##Facilitate and contribute to cross OE teams of commercial sales and Technical Experts and support roll out guidelines around UW, Pricing and risk capacity management supporting sustainable sales growth ~crlf~ ~crlf~C.Relationship Management and Influence~crlf~##Build and maintain trusted relationships with IOC Finance & Risk representatives, Organising Committee Olympic Games (OCOG), sports federations, Olympic and Paralympic bodies and positively represent and influence Allianz interests to generate more profitable sales~crlf~##Educate and promote across the Allianz Group the IOC partnership to establish buy in via business development opportunities~crlf~##Proactively initiate and support commercial agreements with sports ecosystem customer pools, direct channels and distribution partners / models~crlf~##Position and communicate internally and externally Allianz as the Insurer of the Sports Ecosystem~crlf~

Qualification:~crlf~##Post Graduate Business / Finance / Economics and/or senior professional insurance qualification~crlf~##Commercial Underwriting Experience highly regarded~crlf~##At least 10 years of relevant job experience in the financial services / insurance industry~crlf~##Business fluency in English and preferably skills in at least one other language~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience & Key Skills:~crlf~##Strong commercial business acumen with relationship management execution skills~crlf~##Expertise in distribution channels and sales community building~crlf~##Demonstrated sustained sales outcomes in dynamic business environment~crlf~##Analytic thinker and a convincing organisational talent with quick perception and excellent communication skills~crlf~##Customer oriented, excellent natural interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills~crlf~##Excellent analytical and technical skills in Underwriting, risk management and insurance~crlf~##Willingness and ability to negotiate for internal stakeholders, partners and customers, often in contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties~crlf~
