Risk Analyst (m/f/d) in Group Risk
The Risk Control Function for Allianz SE within Group Risk (RCSE) runs the independent risk oversight on all direct activities of Allianz Holding, including Treasury, M&A, Corporate Finance and operational activities. RCSE participates in all risk related processes, including preparation of investment decisions, capital calculation, and risk monitoring. ~crlf~~crlf~Your core responsibility within our small and agile team will be to lead our quarterly closing activities for Solvency II Risk Capital Reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insight into how the capital and financing processes work within Allianz SE and the Allianz Group, and offers a great deal of exposure in particular to treasury and reinsurance activities.
##Lead Allianz SE quarterly closings for Solvency II Risk Capital reporting, limits monitoring, and quarterly risk capital projections, as well as relevant ad-hoc regulatory requests. ~crlf~In particular, run market and credit risk calculations for Holding and Treasury activities, as well as the aggregation of Allianz SE risk capital across holding and reinsurance activities and risk categories.~crlf~##Assist in review of transactions including M&A deals, corporate finance transactions, new products or risks, as well as structured or complex products. ~crlf~## Contribute to other Group mandated risk activities including regulatory capital reporting and obligor risk management.~crlf~##Support testing activities on proposed technical implementations related to changes in Risk capital calculations. ~crlf~##Supervise documentation of risk capital related processes.~crlf~
Qualification:~crlf~##Affinitiy for numbers and financial topics as well as strong Excel proficiency are a must ~crlf~##University degree in Business Administration/Economics with focus on finance~crlf~topics, or equivalent work experience~crlf~##Quantitative background, CFA, and/or a solid knowledge of (re)insurance business~crlf~a plus~crlf~##Fluent English and German, both written and spoken~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience and Key skills:~crlf~##Minimum 6 years of professional experience in quantitative risk controlling~crlf~and management, investment/participation control, treasury/ALM or M&A function~crlf~of a financial services company~crlf~##Solid understanding of insurance balance sheet, as well as of market risk, credit risk and risk aggregation methodology~crlf~##Ability to cover a broad range of tasks in operative risk management~crlf~processes and risk oversight activities, such as review of data input into risk~crlf~systems, detailed review of transactions, qualitative and quantitative reporting,~crlf~design of risk processes and limits, development of risk policies, and~crlf~recommendations for actions on risk issues.~crlf~##Ability to deliver reliably under deadline at a high level of accuracy. ~crlf~##In a small team interfacing with many stakeholders, a communicative and collaborative mindset is an absolute must!~crlf~
