Intern (m/f/d) in Productivity Management
We are currently looking for working students in various areas of Group Operations & Performance:~crlf~~crlf~Area Productivity Management (PM): PM is the central unit of Allianz that measures and tracks the operational performance and IT efficiency of its worldwide operating entities (OEs). Central to this strategic task is the analysis of operating costs and productivity metrics, to advise the OEs and the Group on the steering & implementation of the productivity strategy.~crlf~~crlf~Area Group Program Management (GPMI): As one key element of our Group Strategy Allianz we strive for simplicity in products, processes and IT in the next years under the umbrella of the Allianz Customer Model. One element to achieve these targets is to reduce legacy by reducing number of IT applications and product variants as well as generations. Against this backdrop GPMI hase established a program driving the topic of IT decommissioning across all OEs. GPMI is accountable to steer, control, track and report on usage of decommissioning budgets in coordination with overall project portfolio. The primary for this position lies on the qualitative steering and tracking of the decommissioning projects as part of the Project Portfolio Review.
You support the team in their daily work, e.g.: ~crlf~~crlf~(1) Area Productivity Management: ~crlf~Build-up, use and interpretation of monitoring tools, for operational productivity and IT, with cost, quality and productivity KPIs.~crlf~Check of data on consistency/plausibility and analysis of meaning for OE performance vs. internal and external peers.~crlf~Support in the roll-out of different initiatives and new platforms to OEs to enhance reporting, monitoring and analysis.~crlf~Support of interactions with executives from OEs to understand and validate data.~crlf~Contribute to providing visibility on the productivity of individual OEs and the Allianz Group~crlf~Assist in preparation of materials for OE and Group management productivity monitoring, measurement & improvement.~crlf~~crlf~(2) Area Group Program Management:~crlf~ Support in establishing and roll-out a proper progress reporting across all Operating Entities to steer, control and report effective usage of provided decom budgets to minimize investments and maximize impact.~crlf~Support in maintaining our decommissioning databases as a source to steer and monitor implementation progress.~crlf~Support of interactions with executives from OEs to understand and validate their decommissioning program.~crlf~Assist in preparation of materials for OE and Group management to report on progress in decommissioning program.~crlf~Support in establishing a global expert IT decommissioning expert community in order to collect, share and exchange on best practices for decommissioning.~crlf~~crlf~Both areas offer you a great starting point for you to get to know the insurance industry and the worldwide entities of the Allianz Group. In addition you will acquire valuable analytical skills . You will work independently with guidance from senior project managers and your personal mentor.~crlf~
Qualification:~crlf~##You are at an advanced stage of your degree and have a proven track record~crlf~##Studies in Business Administration, Economics, other business related fields or Mathematics~crlf~##Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is helpful (but not a must), additional language skills are a plus~crlf~##Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel, VBA and PowerPoint~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience and Key skills:~crlf~##Strong analytical skills, especially quantitative aptitude~crlf~##Ability to communicate in a clear, well-structured manner~crlf~##Experience in handling and interpretation of data~crlf~##Experience in project work as well as work experience in consulting or financial services industry is a plus~crlf~##Good social skills and cultural awareness~crlf~##High degree of sensitivity and accuracy in working on key strategic issues for the Allianz Group~crlf~##International experience (e.g., stay abroad) is a plus~crlf~
