The Allianz SE Information Security (IS) Function ensures that information security risks that may impact the successful delivery of Allianz business objectives are identified and properly addressed. It ensures that Allianz information is adequately protected by preventing cyber attacks, in line with internal and external, legal and regulatory requirements. ~crlf~~crlf~The Allianz SE Information Security Manager is part of Allianz SE IS Function headed by Allianz SE Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

The responsibilities of the Allianz SE Information Security Manager are based on seven capabilities:~crlf~1.~crlf~Strategy & Reporting~crlf~##Support development of local IS Strategy and management of IS Strategy implementation. ~crlf~##Create reports for and maintain relationships with different management bodies and key stakeholders, including Audit, Risk, Group Functions, regulators.~crlf~##Support Information Security Community within Allianz as well as with key external partners and institutions.~crlf~2.~crlf~Policy Management~crlf~##Ensure compliance to GISF (Group Information Security Framework) and local regulatory requirements for Allianz SE.~crlf~##Adapt global policy with local requirements, ensure and monitor local policy compliance by monitoring and reviewing the respective processes and mechanisms.~crlf~3.~crlf~Steering~crlf~##Align demand with local IT function and Group (if required) and monitors delivery of demand from service providers(s)~crlf~##Steer all Legal Entities belonging to Allianz SE in terms of Information Security according to System of Governance (SoG) of Allianz. Monitor IS Compliance of Legal Entities and branches and manage associated improvements and remediation.~crlf~##Ensure that IS incidents are reported to and coordinated by the Allianz Cyber Defense Center (ACDC). Manage and supervise investigations of IS incidents and escalate relevant issues, depending on the severity of an IS incident.~crlf~4.~crlf~IS Risk management~crlf~##Create a Risk Culture for Information Risks and support the Business Owners to identify, assess, monitor and steer these risks – as a cross-functional activity this will be jointly done in close cooperation with the IT Functions.~crlf~##Support Business Owners to identify mitigating activities to close control weaknesses, escalate systematic control shortcoming to Group IS Function and service provider(s).~crlf~5.~crlf~Project Portfolio Management~crlf~##Plan and monitors local IS project portfolio and develop OE specific action plans to enable and maintain compliance with IS requirements, to fulfil local regulatory requirements and to support local transformation ~crlf~##Ensure local implementation of requirements from global IS projects and ensure security by design~crlf~6.~crlf~Independent Control Assurance~crlf~##Monitor assurance & supervision of consumed services from Allianz internal and 3rd party service providers.~crlf~##Assess security level of services and applications with security audits (e.g. Pentests), hand over identified control weaknesses to IS Risk Management.~crlf~##Take part in and contributes to local Threat Intelligence programs and sharing communities ~crlf~7.~crlf~Awareness & Training~crlf~##Advise all Allianz SE employees on IS topics and ensure that all employees are properly trained in the basic requirements regarding IS. ~crlf~##Adapt global content to local requirements and contribute to global awareness community.~crlf~##Execute Security Awareness campaigns and trainings, organize the Cyber Security Awareness Month (#CSAM) and trigger phishing resilience campaigns~crlf~

Qualification~crlf~##Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Information Systems or related field is required~crlf~##Professional certifications in Information Security and Risk Management (e.g. ISO2700x, COBIT, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP), Process and Service Management (e.g. ITIL) as well as Project Management (e.g. PMI, PMP, Prince2) or similar~crlf~##Knowledge of current IT Security technologies, processes and architectures (e.g. web application security, DevSecOps, vulnerability / penetration testing and information security tools)~crlf~##Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools and related processes~crlf~##Successful track record in process and organizational management as well as running and managing projects in large and diverse international organizations~crlf~##Fluent English and German~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience & Key skills~crlf~##Significant professional experience (at least 5 years) in a combination of Information Security, Information Risk Management and Information Technology~crlf~##Understanding of international standards and best practices (ISO27001, ITIL, COBIT) and regulatory environment~crlf~##Experience in designing, implementing and running Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance processes in a global and diverse environment~crlf~##Experience in information security risk assessments (cloud/not-cloud) and auditing~crlf~##High quality analytical skills~crlf~##People management experience~crlf~##Excellent interpersonal skills~crlf~##High level of reliability, dedication and commitment~crlf~##Ability to establish relationships across all business and functional areas and act in a consultative manner to identify the security requirements applicable to each business area and to intertwine security needs with the goals and objectives of the organization~crlf~##Ability to interact with a wide range of internal colleagues and external professionals, including regulators, consultants, auditors, legal counsel, and others~crlf~
