At the moment, our Cat Risk Management team in Munich is recruiting a Working Student in the CAT R&D/Portfolio Analytics Team (m/f/d).~crlf~ ~crlf~A position with a broad range of tasks and support responsibilities.~crlf~As working student, you will play a functional and technical support role in the daily work conducted by the CAT R&D/ Cat Portfolio Analytics Team in the natural catastrophe management unit of Allianz SE. This role will mainly revolve around functional and technical support of the assessment of natural perils. Your tasks will include the support of the development and testing of hazard layers and Cat model as well as (geospatial) data validations, cleansing and analytics. Furthermore, you support the processes around insurance exposure data collection and runs with the Allianz internal risk capital model. Additionally, you will assist in ad-hoc requests around such topics.~crlf~

Extensive subject-matter knowledge and cultural awareness are required.~crlf~##Master student in any natural science/geoscience discipline, mathematics or related discipline~crlf~##Strong analytical, mathematical and statistical skill set~crlf~##Programming skills (preferably Python) ~crlf~##Familiar with the use of GIS software (e.g. ESRI) and MS Office applications~crlf~##Understanding of basic insurance terms is a plus~crlf~##Carefully and diligently completes their duties and quickly grasps complex topics~crlf~##Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness~crlf~##Fluency in English is mandatory, and the ability to speak German would be beneficial. ~crlf~
