    Manage a caseload of Construction Defect Claims. ~crlf~Timely manage new loss assignments and reassignments.~crlf~Develop case strategy and manage Construction Defect litigation.~crlf~Evaluate Construction Defect cases.~crlf~Provide defense counsel and vendor oversight based upon an agreed litigation strategy.~crlf~Identify appropriate cases for trial and complete pre-trial and trial activities. ~crlf~Understand coverage issues and make complex coverage decisions. ~crlf~~crlf~This position will report to a Claim Manager, Construction Defect group..

  • Key Responsibilities

    This position may require national travel on short notice. ~crlf~Ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of litigated Construction Defect claim handling experience with demonstrated roles of increased responsibility. ~crlf~Strong technical background desired with an emphasis on coverage issue identification and policy interpretation.~crlf~In-depth knowledge of liability policy language and coverage interpretation.~crlf~Ability to provide guidance, input and oversight to defense counsel. ~crlf~Ability to work in a fast paced environment. ~crlf~Work experience in a highly regulated environment and ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. ~crlf~Strong interaction and presentation skills desired.~crlf~College degree required
