    Located at Allianz’s headquarters in Munich, the Corporate Responsibility department drives the sustainability agenda of Allianz Group, integrates climate, environmental, social and governance considerations in the business and operations, manages the corporate citizenship / corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and leads the non-financial reporting and sustainability rating processes. ~crlf~~crlf~The team working on the topic of climate change (‘Climate Integration’) is looking for a full-time intern (m/f/d) to start in August 2019 for a 6-8 month period.~crlf~~crlf~As an intern (m/f/d) in the climate integration theme you will primarily work on integrating climate change considerations in the Allianz core business as well as on climate-related aspects of sustainability reporting, ratings and assurance.~crlf~~crlf~In your cover letter, please explicitly indicate how your interests and previous work and/or academic experience align with the topic and responsibilities as laid out below.   • Key Responsibilities

    You will work in a diversified and challenging environment, which allows very active involvement with increasing responsibilities in a diversified, high-performing, agile, dynamic team. Depending on your skillset and interests, your tasks may include:~crlf~##Project management of climate-related projects~crlf~##Conduct general research and prepare briefings~crlf~##Prepare internal and external communication materials~crlf~##Assist in the preparation, collection, aggregation and analysis of climate-related information and data for various reports (sustainability report, non-financial report, etc.)~crlf~##Support the development, planning and execution of climate-related projects, processes, partnerships and/or events.~crlf~##Work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders~crlf~##Support the team with administrative and organizational tasks

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Qualification:~crlf~##You are currently working towards a university degree (master, PhD) in finance, management, sustainability, economics, business administration, political sciences, environmental sciences, environmental engineering and/or any other related field ~crlf~##Previous knowledge and/or a strong interest in climate-related topics (e.g. climate disclosure, sustainable finance regulation, climate-aligned portfolio strategy, etc.)~crlf~##Ideally you have already gained first practical experience in the fields of climate change, sustainability, project management, investment, insurance, consulting and/or communications. ~crlf~##Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required; German or another European language an asset.~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience & Key skills:~crlf~##Strong ability to think and act independently and to quickly adapt to new problem settings and situations~crlf~##Proactive, flexible and energetic team players with a strong personal interest in sustainability issues, environmental problems and societal concerns ~crlf~##Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to drive several projects at once~crlf~##Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)~crlf~ ~crlf~Additional skillsets can be an asset:~crlf~##Strong data management and analytical skills~crlf~##Ability to write good stories and articles to promote more of our work
