  • Job Purpose/ Role

    Group Operations & Performance is a Group Center in the governance section of the Group Chief Operation Officer (Group COO) of the Allianz Group. It acts as a global steering function for strategic Group initiatives / decisions and their operational relevance. It ensures on behalf of the Allianz Group that the approved Operations and IT strategy is upheld in both operating entities and operational Shared Service entities. Operations & IT Steering department defines all processes which require specific governance and is steering dedicated Group initiatives. ~crlf~Our department is responsible for managing the effective and efficient collaboration between the Allianz Group and Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) for all Operations and Group IT initiatives. ~crlf~In your role, you will support the team in all their daily activities with a special focus on supporting to get all data and input needed for quarterly Group Project Portfolio process, yearly Portfolio submission that is shared with Allianz Senior Management people. You will be involved in facilitate the overall process, consolidating data and preparing first drafts of the presentation, supporting us in administrative tasks and being involved in our daily business activities. Further tasks depends on your special qualification and interests.

  • Key Responsibilities

    Support the team with the following tasks:~crlf~##Preparation of presentations and briefing documents for the Group IT Committee, Operations and IT Strategy Sessions as well as other decision-making bodies ~crlf~##Preparation of the quarterly Allianz ITCo Project Portfolio by gathering and consolidating status reports, financials and other data~crlf~##Arrangement of stakeholder alignment processes by meetings/calls (admin office tasks)~crlf~##Quality assurance and revision of documents, both text and calculation based~crlf~(business cases, project descriptions)~crlf~##Support management of all activities incl. follow up on the topics from the committe~crlf~##Completion of ad hoc requests and daily tasks of the team~crlf~##Continously simplification and re-assessing existing governance processes ~crlf~##Manage and set up Microsoft Teams as a key internal collaboration tool for various events

  • Key Requirements/ Skills

    Qualification:~crlf~##Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program (preferably in your first year) and have a proven track record~crlf~##Studies in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Social Sciences or other business related fields~crlf~##Excellent writing and communication skills in English~crlf~##Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint)~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience & Key skills:~crlf~• Ability to learn quickly and to proactively manage complex tasks~crlf~• Strong verbal and written communication skills~crlf~• High degree of sensitivity and accuracy in working on key strategic issues ~crlf~• Affinity for numbers; strong analytical skills~crlf~• Ability to work independently and as part of a team~crlf~'• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as results-oriented attitude~crlf~• Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a dynamic working environment
