Work closely with decision-makers, support teams and senior Operations leadership to transform data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. Responsible for forecasting work volume and necessary staff to meet these needs efficiently. Understands the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues, identify changes in productivity, and drive emprovement. The Analyst provides data that is reliable, timely, accurate and ensures the information is easily available. Educates and trains decision-makers to use the data as an analytical tool, displaying information for the purpose of analysis and option exploration.

## Utilize various BI software platforms (i.e. Cognos, MocroStrategy, Power BI) and source systems to build dynamic reporting and analytical tools.~crlf~## Conduct data analysis to definite trends and identify opportunities for improvement in customer service and processes, as well as reporting impact of trends to management. Create ad hoc reporting and queries as needed to respond to cross-departmental/client inquiries.~crlf~## Assist in the compilation of data and analysis for presentations.~crlf~## Work with the management to build and maintain new reports.~crlf~## Assist on special projects as related to data analysis and reporting.~crlf~##Identify gaps in team capacity and develop necessary technical skills to keep pace with emerging needs and trends.~crlf~## Support budget process by providing support for ongoing units forecast and staffing models.~crlf~## Assist in the documentation of process flows and procedures. ~crlf~## Meet deadlines for delivery of all ad-hoc and scheduled reporting/analysis.~crlf~## Maintain ongoing level of understanding of business processes and systems as related to department specialization (i.e. Claims processing, contact center).~crlf~## Participate on cross-divisional focus teams as requested.~crlf~## May perform other duties as assigned.~crlf~

## Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position~crlf~## Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.~crlf~## Three (3) to five (5) years experience in an analytical support role.~crlf~##Experience in the insurance or healthcare industry preferred.~crlf~##Understanding of call center and claims handling KPI's. ~crlf~##Understanding of workforce performance management.~crlf~##Proficiency in Excel and MS Access.~crlf~##Experience using modern reporting platforms (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI) required.~crlf~##SQL Server proficiency required.~crlf~##Oracle SQL Developer proficiency preferred.~crlf~##Powerpoint proficiency required.~crlf~##Ability to meet aggressive deadlines for delivery of planned and unplanned reporting and analysis.~crlf~##Strong communication skills and possess an ability to lead meetings/focus groups.~crlf~
