Tax Business Process Analyst – Policyholder Services

Under supervision, exhibits intermediate level of expertise in performing a specialized job, function or skill within the Policyholder Services department. Assists with Tax-related project and change initiatives by determining and implementing business rules, procedures, user acceptance test script writing and execution and business readiness (SOPs, training, communication). Acts as process consultant to improve BAU process, customer or producer experience and offshore optimization opportunities. Collaborates on opportunities to enhance service or processes (across departments), coordinate internal department and change plans including mentorship of business area staff.

-Coordinates and facilitates multiple small-scale initiatives within area of expertise focused on mitigating tax risk by making improvements to business processes, systems and tax controls. Executes the development of user stories and/or business requirements including the assessment of upstream and downstream business impacts.~crlf~-Participates in change initiatives (projects) representing the business processes, rules, controls, and reports for area of expertise~crlf~-Oversees the execution of business processes assuring accuracy of business rules, controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and reporting~crlf~-Problem solve business issues relating to business rule execution and accountable for quality of business rules and controls specific to tax~crlf~- Accountable for change acceptance through ownership of user acceptance test case development and execution, end to end test development and execution, post validation planning and execution. Creates and introduces optimal process solution design.~crlf~-Develops and recommends opportunities to improve processes in adherence with federal and state tax regulatory requirements~crlf~-Acts as point of contact for tax support and develops educational tools/resources to increase knowledge of tax regulations for area of expertise~crlf~-Ability to interpret tax implications to the business~crlf~- Demonstrates a clear understanding of various project methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile Project Management. Demonstrates an understanding of project techniques for process improvement such as Six Sigma (White Belt, Blue Belt certifications).~crlf~~crlf~

Experience:~crlf~Experience managing small- to medium- size projects~crlf~2-3 years of experience required: Relevant technical and/or business experience~crlf~4-5 years of experience preferred: Allianz Operations or Insurance/Financial Industry experience~crlf~Background/experience with tax requirements related to financial services operations required~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~Four-year degree required: Or equivalent work experience~crlf~~crlf~
