Sr. Innovation Specialist
This position is responsible for assisting the Allianz Life Ventures team in running their LP/Accelerator program as well as their internal stakeholder programming to advance their purpose in enhancing our innovation practice as a company. As well as working with the Allianz Life Ventures team to have a positive reputational and brand presence at all internal Allianz and external venture eco-system events. This position will also work with the VP of Allianz Life Ventures to lead and further develop the innovation practices and campaigns of Allianz Life. Leveraging the AZL Ventures network to share entrepreneurial stories, discovering corporate innovation campaign best practices to further the Allianz Life innovation practice and help the company leverage innovative ideas from their employees to continue with their growth and productivity mission.
* Development and execute the Breakthrough Innovation annual campaign and quarterly recognition program, assist in developing broader innovation programs to further the company's innovation acumen~crlf~* Responsible for company-wide communication planning and execution regarding Breakthrough Innovation and other innovation initiatives~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~* Act as the liaison for AZL Ventures fund investments, Act as the AZL Ventures program lead for our accelerator programs with gener8tor and SixThirty, reviewing all portfolio company pipelines to identify early opportunities for investment~crlf~* Maintain and build the internal brand and communication plan for AZL Ventures and external events~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~* Co-design and run the AZL Ventures Advisory Board program to further engage Allianz Life colleagues in the Ventures businesses and incubation of use cases~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~ ~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~ ~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~
Minimum Requirements:~crlf~- 4-5 years experience required: Minimum 4 years work experience in financial services industry. Minimum 3 years of experience working on marketing and business strategies and communication plans. Solid understanding of annuities, life insurance, and investment options/mutual funds.~crlf~- Four-year degree required: Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or Strategy or related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience~crlf~~crlf~Preferred:~crlf~- 6-7 years experience preferred: Experience with creating and designing executive presentations preferred.~crlf~- Advanced degree preferred: Master's degree~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~
