Responsible for leading a team of HR professionals, including HR Specialists and Sr. Employee Relations Consultants. The team is responsible for handling the full range of HR inquiries, including: All HR transactional matters; providing consultative, coaching and mentoring support to managers and employees; investigating and resolving issues, concerns and grievances; and guiding management in handling employee relations according to legal requirements and Allianz Life core values to ensure a safe, healthy and productive work environment. Support creation, maintenance and communication of the HR policies of the company.

Address employee relations needs: Provide comprehensive employee relations support to managers and employees by having a thorough understanding of legal regulations, HR policies and procedures, and Allianz Life core values, educating and counseling to ensure equitable treatment of staff and compliance with federal and state employment laws. Research issues regarding employee relations matters such as harassment, discrimination and Whistleblower Hotline Claims. Advise managers and employees on the most complex issues that are often not covered by standard policy or procedure. Provide guidance and coach managers on topics as providing effective feedback, addressing performance and employee relations issues, creating performance improvement plans, leave management, etc. Advise managers concerning issues that have legal ramifications and significant risk to the organization, such as harassment complaints and complex involuntary terminations. Work on escalated cases involving a high degree of risk, analysis and fact finding, partnering closely with legal and HR colleagues.~crlf~~crlf~Team leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of HR Specialists and Sr. Employee Relations Consultants who are responsible for providing consultative, coaching and mentoring support to managers and employees on standard to complex matters, responding to transactional questions, resolving issues, concerns, and grievances, and guiding management in applying company policies, addressing all aspects of the employee life cycle, and handling employee relations according to legal requirements and Allianz Life core values. Coach, mentor and support development of employees to support a cohesive and engaging team environment.~crlf~~crlf~Specialized responsibilities: Responsible for all leave of absence handling and processing, including all FML and ADA cases. Responsible for providing guidance and processing on all RIF situations.~crlf~~crlf~Address standard HR inquiries: Through a team, provide on call support to all employees on routine and transactional HR matters. Provide HR support to all aspects of the employee life cycle (e.g. hiring, promoting, maintaining records, leaves, benefits, compensation, training, termination, etc.), working to support a positive employee experience at each interaction.~crlf~~crlf~Formulate policy: Accountable for reviewing, updating, interpreting and when necessary creating, HR policies for the company. Partner with leadership and areas such as Legal to formulate policy and support consistent policy application across the company.~crlf~~crlf~

Experience:~crlf~6-7 years of experience required: Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations, coaching employees and~crlf~leaders, developing and implementing HR policies and delivering HR support through all stages of the employee life~crlf~cycle~crlf~~crlf~Education~crlf~Four year degree or Advanced degree preferred: Human Resources, Law, Business or related~crlf~~crlf~Certification preferred: SHRM certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRMSCP)~crlf~~crlf~
