Sr Director Distribution Marketing
A senior level marketing position that is responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of marketing support for the FMO distribution channel. Collaborate with distribution senior executives and sales leaders to ensure that distribution initiatives are in line with marketing strategies. Provide required direction to ensure Allianz products and marketing programs are properly positioned to meet goals. Ensure proper communication with distribution to enable growth opportunities that marketing initiatives provide.~crlf~~crlf~Management Responsibilities: Manage activity within the distribution marketing team and broader FMO dedicated team to ensure implementation and execution of marketing initiatives. Direct the activity of several other support teams responsible for developing, delivering, approving and distributing marketing content. Leverage metrics to guide decision making process and direction of marketing initiatives. Develop and manage budget to achieve marketing goals while adhering to aggressive business expense management strategies.
• Develop/Communicate strategy and direct the tactical execution of marketing initiatives that support and create sales momentum for distribution. Collaborate with distribution leadership to leverage resources in support of strategies. 40%~crlf~• Direct activities of FMO dedicated team and several support teams to develop, deliver, approve and distribute marketing initiatives. 30% ~crlf~• Drive sales results by increasing awareness/utilization of marketing materials/campaigns and building relationships with distribution/field. 10% ~crlf~• Develop and monitor the marketing budget. Develop metrics to measure success/results of initiatives and inform the direction of marketing initiatives. 10% ~crlf~• Build and maintain awareness of competitive environment to ensure Allianz keeps pace with both peer companies and the changing marketplace. 10% ~crlf~
Experience~crlf~• 8-10 years experience required: In Financial Services Industry with a minimum of 10-years in sales and/or marketing; 7-years management experience~crlf~• 8-10 years experience preferred: Insurance or Mutual Fund industry and/or Broker Dealer or Marketing organization. FLMI, CFP, ChFC, or other industry designations. ~crlf~• 8-10 years experience required: Annuity marketing. ~crlf~
