Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager - New Markets
Manages new markets projects. Responsible for management of new markets concept assessments, strategy and business case development, and implementation of new Allianz Life products, distribution, and capabilities. Accountable for adherence to and management of the overall new markets development process for these activities. Typical workload includes 3 to 10 new market related initiatives involving up to 9 separate business areas. The new market development activities will have a direct impact on the overall sales and distribution of our organization.
* Direct and manage new market development projects from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and key stakeholders. ~crlf~* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and devise mitigation and contingency plans. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements.~crlf~* Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project timeline.~crlf~* Develop detailed business project plans and schedules. Review with business partners and agree on commitment. ~crlf~* Conduct formal review with management sponsor at the completion of the new market initiatives and provide team with constructive feedback as it pertains to the overall development and implementation. ~crlf~* Coach or mentor less experienced team members.~crlf~
Experience:~crlf~6-7 years experience required: At least 5 years of project management and/or program management experience; 8-10 years experience preferred~crlf~~crlf~Education/Licensing:~crlf~Four-year degree required: Bachelors degree in related field; Advanced degree preferred~crlf~Series 6 or 7 and PMP certification preferred~crlf~
