Facilities Internship - Summer 2021

We are looking for bright, energetic, outgoing, motivated individuals who are interested in an internship experience within the Facilities and Real Estate business unit at Allianz Life. As a Facilities intern, you will gain valuable experience in a broad range of facility and real estate projects, giving you a solid foundation upon which to begin building your career. Projects may include: corporate space analysis, facility work order system enhancements, AutoCAD drawing audit and updates, department process analysis and improvements.~crlf~~crlf~We desire students who are working toward a degree in Facilities Management. The right candidate will possess good judgment, analytical skills, strong follow-up and organizational skills, excellent customer service, hard worker with a positive, can do attitude.

- Floor plan and drawing audit/update~crlf~- Clean up drawing files and organization of drawing files~crlf~- Conference room interactive map project (develop & kick off)~crlf~- Restricted area access process development for security~crlf~- FM Interact system clean up and enhancement~crlf~- Maintenance data clean up~crlf~- Space management data clean up~crlf~- Facility report clean up and development of new reports~crlf~~crlf~Intern will shadow department personnel at various times to assist with various tasks and to gain exposure to different areas of the camps~crlf~- Engineering~crlf~- Mechanical systems~crlf~- Fire systems~crlf~- Major electrical systems~crlf~- Maintenance~crlf~- Grounds maintenance~crlf~- General building maintenance~crlf~- Event and meeting support~crlf~- Security~crlf~- Amenities~crlf~- Child care center~crlf~- Fitness center~crlf~- Food service~crlf~- Move Management~crlf~- Construction~crlf~- Real estate~crlf~~crlf~

We want bright, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and ready to work hard. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential to success. We are seeking students working toward an undergraduate degree in Facilities Management or a related field. ~crlf~
