Corporate Compliance Analyst/Sr Analyst - Minneapolis

This Compliance Analyst/Sr Analyst role will be responsible for leading the execution of Company data privacy and records management processes in support of the ongoing protection of customer and employee data and regulatory compliance. The incumbent’s primary duties include leading the investigation of enterprise privacy incidents, managing the Company’s records management program and processes and supporting other miscellaneous operational compliance tasks. The incumbent will report up through the Company’s Data Privacy Officer in Ethics & Compliance.

The incumbent will have the following key responsibilities:~crlf~• Lead ongoing investigations and response process for smaller scale privacy and data loss incidents; partner with business contacts on reporting, escalations and analysis of investigative details~crlf~• Assist the Allianz Life Data Privacy Principal in the execution of larger scale privacy incidents that may require coordination with Company enterprise response teams~crlf~• Manage the Company’s records retention schedule and data classification standards; including ongoing management of the Company’s data map and information record inventories~crlf~• Solve problems and make recommendations as it relates to our internal and external business partners when process or technology changes occur that involve handling of personal information~crlf~• Lead internal response to data privacy regulatory risk assessments and questionnaires; manage the ongoing external delivery of AZ Life data privacy notices~crlf~• Assist in the management and communication of data privacy standards and exceptions~crlf~• Support delivery of enterprise data privacy training and awareness exercises~crlf~• Assist the Data Privacy Officer with miscellaneous operational team tasks and other special projects as needed~crlf~~crlf~

Required:~crlf~• 4-5 years of industry or business experience~crlf~• Good analytical skills with ability to grasp technical concepts~crlf~• Sound writing skills that promote clear procedures and reports ~crlf~• Good communication and relationship management skills~crlf~• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and act as a liaison with business partners~crlf~• Good critical thinking skills to analyze compliance issues that present risk to the Company~crlf~• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills ~crlf~• Good conflict management skills~crlf~~crlf~Preferred~crlf~• Bachelor’s degree ~crlf~• Experience focused on compliance, risk and/or applicable business operations experience~crlf~• Knowledge of insurance and financial services industry ~crlf~• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and other reporting tools~crlf~~crlf~
