Agile Technical Lead

The Agile Technical Lead is a subject matter expert in Agile practices and has excellent managerial, facilitation, mentoring, and training skills. The Manager provides guidance, thought leadership and oversight that will build Agile principles, framework, and capabilities across the Enterprise. The Manager will also work at all levels to help the organization use Agile as a strategic asset of culture change and business value generation and is pragmatic with regards to adopting Agile, and is proactive in driving sustainable, incremental change to improve organizational agility.

Responsibilities/Tasks~crlf~• Act as a subject matter expert on Agile practices to educate and facilitate change at all levels of the organization~crlf~• Be recognized as an expert in Agile methodology, Agile transformation and scaling Agile practices ~crlf~• Work with Agile leaders to design an Agile transformation strategy, and promote Agile transformation within organization~crlf~• Support and contribute to the execution of the organization-wide Agile transformation strategy ~crlf~• Create a structure to track and measure the progress being made to implement scaled Agile practices and principles~crlf~• Drive the Agile transformation plan for Allianz Life~crlf~• Act as an Agile Coach and business partner with business teams and other groups based on need~crlf~• Attend Agile ceremonies and events (such as PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt workshops, Scrum of Scrums, etc.) to provide guidance, as needed~crlf~• Help identify organizational impediments to a successful Agile transformation and work with the leadership teams, coaches and delivery teams to create effective strategies to overcome them~crlf~• Collaborate with key stakeholders (Finance, IT, Project Office) to adjust existing business practices to support Agile transformation ~crlf~• Acts as change agent and demonstrates to the teams how the Agile processes and systems work~crlf~• Be a recognized leader who continuously drives Agile maturity levels by challenging assumptions and current ways of thinking and proposing actionable steps to make incremental, sustainable change~crlf~

Requirements~crlf~• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred with 5-10 years of coaching Agile teams and/or leading Agile transformations.~crlf~• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience applying Agile practices and principles including scaled Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban demonstrating ability to inspect and adapt Agile practices to various situations.~crlf~• Proficiency in written, verbal and listening communication including strong presentation and facilitation skills.~crlf~• Knowledge of current and emerging Agile methodologies and effective application of those technologies~crlf~• Demonstrated ability to lead through change, advocate for and influence lean Agile transition.~crlf~• Ability to collaborate and work across the organization.~crlf~• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.~crlf~• Knowledge of Insurance and Financial industry preferred~crlf~
