Oversees and leads the design and implementation of IT Security controls and overall security risk and management strategy and framework, and ensures that a coordinated and consistent approach to controls / risk and security management activity is undertaken across IT. Accountable for providing ongoing controls / risk management support and guidance to the business and designing and producing reporting for local and Allianz Group stakeholders. Stays current on new developments and trends in IT Security risks, technologies and best practices, and design and implement solutions to address consistent with the needs of the organization and requirements of Allianz Group. Works collaboratively with local and global partners and vendors, internal IT and Risk Management partners and the highest level organizational leaders to provide overall leadership and oversight for Information Security and is accountable to the organization as the Chief Information Security Officer.

* Provides oversight and leadership for all IT Security strategy and associated processes. Monitors adherence to those processes and partners with Compliance and Risk from an oversight standpoint. Accountable for development and execution of Information Security strategy for the organization. Leads and influences across the organization and interfaces with senior management to prioritize and fund initiatives. Accountable to Allianz SE regarding global Information Security representation and initiatives.~crlf~* Partners with IT and the business in an advisory capacity to ensure that the IT controls / risk management strategy properly and efficiently serves to address controls and issues. Oversees the development and execution of the strategy and framework. Accountable for the design and implementation of a risk assessment process to ensure that all existing and emerging risks are appropriately identified and managed.~crlf~* Ensures that appropriate policies, procedures, systems, controls and training are in place to mitigate unwanted risk and to enable the measurement and quantification of risks across IT and IT's vendor partners (ATA, AT, etc.). Ensures that risks are identified, managed and mitigated properly through appropriate controls, training and procedures. ~crlf~* Partners with Process Improvement Compliance Oversight (PICO) to drive continuous improvement of control / risk management practices, commensurate with its size and complexity. Proactively monitors current and emerging regulatory and risk issues and changes impacting the Company. Provides guidance, advice and leads implementation of initiatives to address issues.~crlf~* Partners with Compliance, Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Financial Control Team to ensure that the scope and frequency of risk assurance reviews are appropriate to the company's risk profile and Information Security strategy is implemented.~crlf~

Minimum Requirements:~crlf~* 8-10 years experience required: IT Controls, IT risk management and information security management including management of security risks associated with both internal and external vendor partners~crlf~* Four-year degree required: Four year degree in a technical discipline, engineering, business, mathematics or related field~crlf~~crlf~Preferred:~crlf~* 11+ years experience preferred: Experience working in a global, matrix organization preferred. ~crlf~* Advanced degree preferred: MBA, Technical or other business related field~crlf~
