Intern (m/f/d) for Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Sustainable Investment Topics at Allianz Investment Management SE, Munich
As a key part of the investment process at Allianz Investment Management SE you will be supporting the global risk and monitoring team on ESG related topics. We actively integrate ESG aspects into our global portfolio and expect you to have prior knowledge or interest in sustainability related topics as well as financial markets and investment management. You will not only support with regular ESG reporting topics but also have the opportunity to work on ongoing ad-hoc projects in this area.
##Support internal ESG related projects and processes.~crlf~##Support ESG related monitoring and reporting of the ca. EUR 750bn portfolio. ~crlf~##Contribute to analyses of big amounts of investment data.~crlf~##Support ongoing projects (SDG mapping, de-carbonization pathways analysis, ESG B2B engagement related company research including industry report reading/writing).~crlf~##Ad-hoc requests (e.g. preparation of presentations, capital market research, portfolio analysis).~crlf~##Maintenance of the department-specific information platforms (Allianz Connect, SharePoint).~crlf~
##Advanced stage of your degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Political Science with a genuine interest in capital markets, finance and sustainability. ~crlf~##Very good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word. Knowledge of Bloomberg would be a plus. ~crlf~##Strong analytical and data analysis skills.~crlf~##Excellent team player that enjoys working in an international environment.~crlf~##In-depth academic knowledge of, or great interest in, capital markets and sustainability topics (e.g. impact investing, SDGs, climate change, ESG B2B engagement). ~crlf~##Good academic performance.~crlf~##Prior work experience through internships would be a plus.~crlf~##Ability to work in English (German a plus).~crlf~
