We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Vendor Manager (f/m/d) who will support in two key areas Vendor Governance and Commercial Management. This position is based in our office in Frankfurt. ~crlf~~crlf~Global Vendor Management is responsible for the global and strategic supplier relationships across the joint Operations and IT space of Allianz Global Investors. The management of these key relationships is essential to the ongoing investment management platform, our competitive position in services provided, our flexibility in growth, and our overall efficiency. These vendors include, but are not limited to, custodians, middle office service providers, network service providers and more.~crlf~~crlf~You will act as contact point to our strategic vendors, handling critical metric and SLA, contracts, ensuring the contractual result and service quality are in check. Additionally, you will be required to work on central initiatives with an objective to see opportunities for optimization of our partnership environment and service relationships. Overall, you will be working with a highly motivated, performance oriented, diverse and creative team; which will give you global exposure and high opportunity to gain knowledge in this field. ~crlf~~crlf~This is an exciting time to join the team as we have recently merged operations and IT vendor management and are reviewing our best practices towards oversight and due diligence across all vendor relationships.

Vendor Governance~crlf~##Supervising and monitoring of supplier results and obligations as well as performance against contractual obligations~crlf~##Verifying supplier charges (prices and volumes), and commercial/ financial reporting~crlf~##Supporting in risk assessment and supervising the mitigating actions ~crlf~##Coordinating, preparing and following-up contractual governance and operational review meetings~crlf~##Understanding of contracts, supplier obligations, pricing, results etc. ~crlf~##Supporting within growing awareness within the organization on the contract, results and controlling aspects ~crlf~##Maintaining structure and audit compliant documentation of contracts, changes, reports, invoices etc.~crlf~##Financial tracking of contracts, work orders, projects and audits related to the agreement with the supplier ~crlf~##Preparing vendor scorecard and reporting for vendors in technology and operational space~crlf~##Supporting business partners within improving service quality, relationship and critical issue with assigned vendors~crlf~##Being primarily responsible for maintaining strong vendor relationships ~crlf~~crlf~Commercial Management~crlf~##Working collaboratively with vendors and other internal partners to identify continuous cost improvement strategies~crlf~##Handling RFP/RFQ (buyer side) along entire process from initiation to vendor selection~crlf~##Leading internal preparations for vendor negotiations by aligning with various support functions (e.g. IT governance, Finance and Controlling, Legal and Compliance, etc.)~crlf~##Supporting in budgeting process by cost base lining, spend analysis and implementation of cost mitigation measures~crlf~##Leading business case creation and tracking for strategic outsourcing projects ~crlf~

##Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer or Information Technology ~crlf~##Several years experience in the field of Vendor Management / Finance Management and/or Procurement ~crlf~##Certifications either in ITIL foundation / Prince 2 foundation / Six sigma / IACCM preferred~crlf~##Experience in handling large and sophisticated projects~crlf~##Experience in running crisis and emergency situations~crlf~##Budget planning and controlling~crlf~##Handling of external providers~crlf~##Experience in cost optimization initiatives~crlf~##Financial, Operations, and IT knowledge is a must~crlf~##Excellent knowledge of Microsoft systems like MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and O365 ~crlf~##Strong social skills: communication, conflict management, analytical thinking and problem solving, negotiations, partner management~crlf~##Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize ~crlf~##Detail oriented and ability to work with large sets of qualitative and quantitative data~crlf~##Ability to interface deftly with peers/ colleagues/ seniors, interact with multiple groups across multiple regions and to influence others without direct authority~crlf~##Some travel may be required~crlf~##Proficiency in English (command in German and other languages is a plus)~crlf~
